It's great, I'm glad we can all enjoy this amazing game together. But holy shit some of you guys need to stop being so damn mean or weird whenever a girl joins team chat. Just play the game with them. Saying they're playing like shit because girls are bad at video games or they should be mercy mains doesn't help anyone. And they don't want to fuck you for crying out loud. Everyone in the game is there to play and have fun. I'm not trying to be a white knight here, but this shit is annoying for everyone in the lobby. It makes everyone uncomfortable and it really ruins the vibe of the game.

Sorry to rant, I'm just tired of it

Edit: Me and my girlfriend play rocket league together no problem, as there are no mics with randoms. I'm trying to get her into overwatch but the community can be so toxic to her, it hurts me when she's hurt and she shouldn't have to actively avoid team chat.

Sombra's Abilities Are Riddled With Bugs (With Video Evidence)

I recently started to play Sombra again she is one of my favorite DPS character and one of my most played DPS but the last time I played her was before her big hack changes in her speed and her interruption cool down if hack is interrupted.

The video I used for the examples becasue I don't have recording software is thanks to "WorstSombra" awesome sombra player really recommend watching him play!! :)

~Major bugs for Sombra that I have notices since playing her again (So these might be more common since I have seen other people have the same issues)~

1) hack is very un-reliable now sometimes hacking a target will just randomly cancel hack for no reason at all and will sometimes even put hack go on cool-down as if she did land the hack off. VIDEO EXAMPLE 1 - https://youtu.be/rH8k6x2IghU?t=44s VIDEO EXAMPLE 2 - https://youtu.be/rH8k6x2IghU?t=27s

2) Translocator sometimes just disappears from existence and you have to wait for the 4 second cool down to use it again, this is a small cool down but when you are trying to escape and it just disappears. VIDEO - https://youtu.be/rH8k6x2IghU?t=31s

3) sometimes translocator lands but when you try to vanish back to the translocator the visual and animations for the teleport happen but she does not teleport back at all. VIDEO - https://youtu.be/rH8k6x2IghU?t=1m42s

~now here are some bugs that i have seen happen in videos/streams but not have experienced myself yet(credit to all the streamers and video makers for video evidence)~

Overwatch Team please look into these see all these bugs Sombra is becoming the new as they say "Doomfist" when it comes to inconstancy and bugs in a heroes kit.

I would hate to see this really fun hero become un-reliable in what she does best for quite some time, like how Doomfist was for a very long time.

Lucio music as loot box items

I don't know if anyone has ever posted about this in the past, but the thought just came to me. Lucio has some song changes associated with some skins, but it would be cool to see a separate section where you could equip and unlock different songs within the Hero Gallery.

So you wanna get better at Overwatch? Mechanics aren't the only way! Learn how to track the kill feed and develop trigger discipline with your ult!

A lot of people think that mechanics are the most important area for improvement that will affect your gameplay but they neglect some of the most important aspects of becoming good at overwatch.

You will see a huge amount of improvement if you start learning to read the kill feed at the corner of the screen. Keeping track of which team is up in numbers, and communicating that info to the team, is going to help you and your team make better decisions.

Even in diamond you see players going in and pushing when you are down two players (basically feeding the enemy free ult charge because you will definitely not win the fight). Or how often have you seen your zarya blow her grav when your team is already down 3-4 players and respond with a "I thought the team was with me!"

It also helps you know when you are up and can push the advantage. "Guys we are up two, let's push on the!" is a call out that can win games but requires no mechanical skill.

By reading the kill feed you can make smarter decisions like knowing when to retreat or to save your ult. Announcing it to your team is even better because then no one will blow their ults! "Zarya don't use grav we are down 3" or "Genji you are alone don't use blade, save it for the next fight"

The best part of this is that it is really easy to develope. I learned by forcing myself to say it out loud Every time I see we are up or down a player. You don't even need to know exactly who died or who got the kill. To begin, just focus on the color of the kill feed. If you see blue, say "we are up one" if you see red, say "we are down a player". Just focus on the color of the feed and saying it every single time and eventually it will become second nature. Once you are good at it you can easily start to distinguish even things like turrets and bongos dying and incorporating rezzes as well!

If you are on a role that doesn't require as much focus on mechanics like Main tank or support you can even call out which hero died to give your team more info.

Overall, learning to read the kill feed and manage your ults appropriately is going to help you improve a lot at Overwatch!
