| Posted: 26 May 2018 10:44 PM PDT Survivalist is widely considered one of the more weaker Perks due to it being too unspecialized to be as effective as the other Perks in the higher difficulties. With a whole new Perk and set of skills available, Survivalist should offer traits that are somewhat unique, instead of allowing a player to be a sub-par gunslinger/commando combo or whatever. For comparison to the original Perk Bonuses
New Grenade - IED - Homemade bomb that deals medium-low damage, and can stun zeds in close proximity. Perk Skills Tier 1 - Weapon Handling
Tier 2 - Survival Techniques
Tier 3 - Equipment
Tier 4 - Destruction
Tier 5 - Specialist Training
I'm still not 100% sure on what the majority of the player base want from the Survivalist Perk, but to me this seems much better than what we have currently. [link] [comments] | ||

However I fear that TWI may keep the upgrade system in the official update and fix it later, which I don't think is a good idea. Even if it might be fixed later on, it's better to ship something polished. It may even deter some players because of how it messed up the weapons. No matter how long it takes, I'll be glad to see that it'll be fixed when shipped. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 26 May 2018 08:42 PM PDT Weapon bashes normally scale with weight. all 7 KG weapons do the same bash damage. or and all 6 KG weapons do teh same bash damage. You'd think, making your weapon heavier with upgrades would make the bash damage scale but it doesn't. Also weapons with weight changes, their bashes damage values are incorrect.
It'd be proper to address this since now how impact weight is with upgrades. Pre-patch I didn't really mind m4 shotgun incorrectly doing 8 KG damage, but with a major focus on carrying weight with the upgrade system it seems appropriate to address. [link] [comments] | ||

Posted: 26 May 2018 03:18 PM PDT Not sure if anyone else gets this, but when either tap firing or charging a shot, it feel like the shot goes about .5 seconds after releasing the trigger instead of immediately. I find it really annoying to use because of it and don't have as much fun because of it. I am not asking for a faster rate of fire or anything, but when I release the mouse button, can it fire immediately instead of having this awkward delay? Is anyone else experiencing this as well? Is this a known bug? Am I the only one that feels this way? [link] [comments] | ||

| Permanent wasted carry weight bug Posted: 26 May 2018 12:43 PM PDT I don't know how to reproduce this exactly, but when buying and selling weapons, it's possible to have weapons disappear from your inventory but still take up weight. You can buy the gun again after that, but there's no way to reclaim the lost weight. It seems like this happens semi-frequently when buying and selling dual pistols. Here you can see I'm at 4 weight despite not having any purchased weapons. Edit: Managed to do one better. Now, not only do I have 4 wasted weight (from dual 1911s which vanished from the inventory), now the 9mil is also gone from the inventory! [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 26 May 2018 09:35 PM PDT I posted this on the TWI forums 3 days ago but didn't get any reply, so this is a call to mapmakers, modders or devs I downloaded the UDK that came out free with the Unreal Engine 3 which is the engine that uses this game, I tried to open the particles that I need to edit them but they are not recognized or are not what I should open, they are .upk files and simply do not open in any way, I searched everywhere and only XCOM posts come out saying that you cannot recompile a .upk (I did not use the KF2 UDK because there was no particle tutorials in TWI wiki or youtube). It's not to make maps, I just want to modify certain particles of the game so that they don't appear, set their values to 0/delete his properties, and then if I can find tutorials of particles for the UE3 modify others, but the bad thing is that the links of the original tutorials are broken and direct me to the download page of UE4. I have seen in a post of TWI forums how the modders edit particles and in custom maps how there are particles that are not inside the game, an example is the green fire in the Infernal Realm map (before official release). | Killing Floor 2 won't launch! Please help Posted: 26 May 2018 09:12 PM PDT I've been able to play this game for awhile, had alot of fun. Logged in over 40 hours. But then a couple of months ago, I wasn't able to play. I'd launch the game and I'd get the Killing Floor 2 splash screen then it would close. Other times, the game would enter windowed mode for a bit before closing again. I haven't seen the menu in ages. I have tried every single fix imaginable. EVERY. SINGLE. FIX. My Specs: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz 8GB DDR3 798Mhz Intel HD Graphics 4000 Please help, I love this game and I just want to play again. If I had enough money I'd go buy a new computer but I don't have enough money to go and do that. [link] [comments] | ||
