Posted: 28 May 2018 03:54 AM PDT I'm new here, only 30 hours played, but one thing I've noticed which time and time again makes me nearly throw my headset against the wall: Apathetic players. I'll elaborate on an all too common situation that occurs in matches. If I die due to lag or player collision glitchiness or my own cockiness I'll lose my weapons, fine, but what proceeds me is my teammates proceeding to pick up weapons that are not their perk weapons and continue to use them or sell them outright. I usually give them the benefit of the doubt, I assume they are focused on combat and at the end of the round I'll ask the player for the weapon back but all times except for one instance I have gotten nothing. It especially makes me want to quit, if I lost two tier 3/4 weapons at the last round with mobs before a boss and get jack sh*t cash and being forced to play the boss round with a $1100 weapon and no armor. In trying to make this behaviour common, I always try to return the weapon to the rightful owner. However, to no avail I continually get put against arse holes who do this. Since there is no ingame reporting system I'll usually resort to a witty (not really, but a man can hope) insult and continue to be punished for the non-reciprocal kindness. How common is this? Have I just scratched the surface or should I help for better players? [link] [comments]
Posted: 28 May 2018 08:19 AM PDT TW, is it possible to upgrade the stoner into a M249 SAW with a red dot sight as a tier 5 gun for the commando? [link] [comments]
KF2 YouTube Channels (and suggestions) Posted: 27 May 2018 03:58 PM PDT Write below the KF2 channels you follow and why you like them. Also, suggestions are really appreciated, KF2 isn't rellay popular on YT and I'm sure there are a lot of hidden gems to find. Mine are: A Far Cry Away: Mainly KF2 oriented, but he covers other games as well. His content is about 30% gameplay 70% reports on patch notes and WAWUT. Pathfinder: Basically KF2 only, a lot of gameplay, map and game mode showcase, very frequent uploads if not daily. Psych0Gamers/FatCat: Very skilled KF2 player with spectacular gameplay videos, very helpful if you want to improve. He mainly uploads solo games, although in the last year he posted a lot of 6p HoE videos. He also writes pretty informative stuff about updates in the description. Usually uploads more after updates. Ktasz: One of my favourites, hugely underrated channel. He focuses on perk guides and in-depth analysis of new weapons. The only issue is he does them right after updates, before the new weapons get tweaked, so take the stats with a grain of salt and double check. Other than that, awesome and informative channel. Uploads every update. Richard Dangles: Channel focused on perk guides and weapon analysis, it's not entirely KF2 focused but I'd say a good 35% of his content is. Worth checking out if you play PayDay 2 as well. Arseniy: Perk guides and updates, doesn't really have a lot of content but it's very good and entertaining. The downside is he's either on a veeeery long hiatus or he abandoned the channel. I think that's all of them, I suggest you to check them out if you didn't know them already. [link] [comments]
Low FPS randomly mid-game causing some stuttering Posted: 28 May 2018 07:46 AM PDT I was playing a game, haven't played KF2 in a while, and my fps was around 90-110 on Ultra settings 1440p. Game felt amazing, but after like the fourth wave in endless my game decided to drop 30 fps down to the 60s and it felt horrible. Game was running fine. The fifth wave it went up to ~75, but stayed there from there on out. i7 8700k, GTX 1070, 8gb. CPU never went above 50%, GPU was fine, and ram never got above 80% usage. [link] [comments]
Summer Gorefast hitbox is dumb. Posted: 27 May 2018 07:56 PM PDT Just because he has a sword on his throat doesnt mean he should be inmune to headshots WTF its not like he is wearing armor!! [link] [comments]
Can you do the chieves for the hazmat suit in 2018? Posted: 28 May 2018 05:18 AM PDT Missed the 2017 summer event, can I do the prerequisite achieves for the sideshow hazmat at the moment? [link] [comments]
Proposed Long Term changes for the development and possible changes to the current upgrade system Posted: 28 May 2018 04:57 AM PDT While I think that the upgrade system in itself is a cool idea, and really shows that TWI care about what the community is saying, I think there are some definite draw-backs to the way that it has been designed or rather implemented. First off, I am going to address some concerns I have about the upgrading system, things I like, and things that I propose could help in the long term implementation and development of a mechanic that has a lot of long term potential for the game. 1) As a result of the high price, players will be more likely to keep money, not spreading it around This would be less of an issue for classes like the firebug or berserker, but teammates often rely on them to generate dosh flow in the mid stages of the game There are 2 ways to remedy this A) Increase the amount of dosh gained B) Decrease the price of upgrades Both have their drawbacks. A) Can lead to weapon hoarding, easier obtained upgrades B) Weapon upgrades would have to be toned down, among other balance changes to weapons to accommodate them The best thing that has been done to balance the upgrading system is the additional weight changes and requirements, and that in itself should be examined to be implemented differently. There are a few ways I can think of that may make the upgrading system less of a hassle. They are split into the following categories 1) Getting Weapon Upgrades 2) What weapon upgrades are available 3) How weapon upgrades behave 1) Upgrades are bought with money from the dosh vault before games and remain permanently associated to the weapon you buy. You have to work your way up to tier 5; followed by;
2) There are, on a basic level a few things that separates guns in Killing Floor
And
3) Instead of just upgrading the gun once to the next tier, 3/6 of the aforementioned weapon properties would have to be bought and chosen (from the dosh vault); in order to unlock the ability to choose the properties for the next tier upgrade you choose. However, depending on the tier and upgrade status within that tier, the cost to upgrade certain characteristics will increase. For example; A damage increase on the tier 2 Desert Eagle, wont cost as much as a say; the tier 5 Fire Rated upgrade increase AA12, after you have already bought the damage and mag size upgrade within that tier. Weapon features would also differ between tiers, and could stack, or be different weapon to weapon, or maybe you could pick 2 weapon features as a part of the upgrade; Eg; Varmint Rifle; Tier 1: Laser Sight Tier 2: Bayonet (Choose between tier 1/2) Tier 3: Red Dot (Choose between tier 3/4) Tier 4: Acog Tier 5: Full Auto Fire. EDARs can become unkillable in the Headshot Weekly Posted: 28 May 2018 02:14 AM PDT Once their head armour and chassis are destroyed, if you didn't do it with a high-damage weapon, they will still run around headless and unaffected, but also seemingly impossible to kill. Or maybe there's a way and I don't know it yet? [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 May 2018 12:06 PM PDT Hey guys, I was just wondering if anybody had any tips for facing down the Patriarch solo at higher difficulties. I've reached the point where I can pretty reliably solo my way to the boss on HOE and most of the time if it's Abomination, Hans, or King FP I can win no problem. However, I can't seem to ever take down Kevin and I just wanted to reach out and see if anybody had any strategies that might help me up my game against him. [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 May 2018 11:39 AM PDT Could do with some new weapons at this rate (ones we do not nerf;) ) Still no axes, flails or a dedicated piercing weapon like a spear. Bit bored of choosing a katana like a weeb until we get to later waves [link] [comments] |
