| Posted: 28 May 2018 05:01 AM PDT It always bothered me, the continuous everlasting disregard/neglect for western gaming community, from eastern MMO companies, especially Korean ones. Our Feedback & Demands, have always been struggling to see the light, not talking about Black Desert alone, it a continuous story of the same observations, that get repeated on pretty much any eastern MMO, including my favorites ones. Over time, i came to the answer eventually, which i'll be sharing on this thread, not expecting much, seeing how my last one turned out. I want you to take few sec, to remember what were the most up-voted topics in the last couple of days :
Now, it's fair to assume the community isn't pleased about plenty of what's going on, plenty of other topics are portraying the same negative vibe, which is why the community have voiced their unsatisfaction. Thing is, words alone aren't enough, which is why some peoples went for a more understandable language : $$, the following threads were made.
As you can see, the community isn't just Passively crying without actions, but Actively discouraging those going for action. Just Curious, How are you guys planing to push for improvements ? I am very interested in your big picture kind of plan. Are you simply passively waiting for a miracle ? Hoping the company would change their ways, even tho we had 0 sign of such a thing during this entire journey. Some denials users, might list up the couples changes community asked and received, like :
Gaming, is a huge industry on KR, an official sport with respect, it isn't viewed as a childish entertainment, which is why it population is far advanced when it comes to dealing with gaming companies, properly and efficiently. If i were in charge of the game, as a company, i would 100% disregard customers who's only way of protest is crying : There is no financial loss for me, in fact if i went ahead to listen and apply their demands, i would have to move resources, which isn't guaranteeing any positive return on the investment = **Crying, isn't only passive but is guaranteed to produce no result. | Posted: 28 May 2018 08:33 AM PDT To all my comrades leaving BDO today, looking for greener pastures, those who suffered launch issues, those who lived to see the glorious +15 softcap days with their 10 durability single boss piece they proudly wore and spam-linked in world chat for all adventurers to see, those who went through the 40 hours of grind to 56, getting ready for awakenings (sup wizerds!), those who levelled warriors with a wet noodle sword and a cheese tray for weapons, those who had the chance to know the pre-karma bullshit open world pvp, the endless battles for Ogre spawns and Mark of Shadows,BigAndShiny's unmatched resilience, spamming tears at sausans, those who actually died once or twice trying to solo relic shards, the wipe fests at Red Nose and Bheg, the excitement of the upcoming node war scene, those who manned cannons without having a fuckin' clue how, the screenshots you took with your guildies after your first node win, the true animosity between guilds, the mergetards, the steamtards, the k-bombers, the horrible servers, the dodgy pearl shop updates, the ninja nerfs, the horse wizerds, BlackRose's flying cavalry, PureLuck's sodomite ways, the death of Nox, the birth of Barcode, WarriorPoets and their 3 guilds, the "Brotherhood" topkek, Sushi's attempted rise to top tier, the shield walls at Sarma Outpost, the shitty T4s, those who actually rode donkeys, the countless hours camping boss spawns, those who spent energy on processing... Long story short, to those who are still here, those who played without Pearl Abyss' silver spoon feeding them everything for free, it's been real.I salute you. I'll see you around! | Posted: 28 May 2018 08:05 AM PDT Chase was nerfed to give other classes a chance to catch Maehwas and Musas in pvp, but this has created a rift in the hearts of our zoop zoops because it changes the flavor of the class, especially in PvE grind speed. So I've come up with a comprimise that gives chase its speed back in PvE and also accomplishes the same goal in PvP... and all you have to do is add this line of dialogue to the ability... .
. This allows Maehwas and Musas to use chase as much as they want in pve and pvp, but adds risk if used too much in pvp. #BrizzforDev <3 . | Where do you guys find roleplay? Posted: 28 May 2018 08:05 AM PDT Back in the day when the game was about a month old i used to do a lot of roleplay in illya island taking the ferry from velia and going to a player run tabern, they where very vocal about the location, channel and oppening hours but these days i dont hear anyone wanting to do it at all in the roleplay chat or any chat at all, i cant find any discord community or subreddit related to the subject. Dulfy's guide says that you might want to consider rerolling and get another one rather than upgrading it. | Posted: 27 May 2018 10:23 AM PDT I was thinking of getting BDO due to the steam sales and I was reading the reviews and noticed one thing.. almost all the bad reviews are from people with thousands of hours in the game.. and they complain that the game is pointless, repetitive, etc but.. they played over 5k hours in the game.. they finished the game.. and they leave a bad review because.. it's over? I just finished Pillars of Eternity 2..great game.. 60 hours.. I was very pleased.. and these guys play 5000 hours and complain about lack of content? Someone please explain. [link] [comments]  |
