| Posted: 27 Apr 2018 05:19 AM PDT I can't be the only one who was happy with the prospect of improvements being made to some of the lacklustre 99 perks we have currently, as there's a big disparity between some of the really good ones and others which are totally crap. I can even get behind the notion of a master perk for existing 120 skills, namely Dungeoneering, Invention & Slayer, offering something aspirational for content that actually exists. But what I just can't get behind is making a skill cape perk for virtual levels in every skill. That is the single most counter-productive and ridiculous thing imaginable imo, as it quite literally gives unique and useful functionality at a post-99 level, thus making them very much NOT VIRTUAL any more. You're effectively saying you're upping the level cap of all 27 skills in one fell swoop. And this all stems from the issue that we've experienced before in the past with Jagex lumping in multiple different-but-similar questions into a single one, then reading their own interpretations into the results. So, I ask of Jagex, and am posting this discussion here for the sake of clarity from the playerbase. Please, do what you've been pledging to more recently and actually poll things unambiguously. Put up an in-game poll with 3 separate questions that breaks down the possible updates and actually use that to direct your course. If it turns out everyone is on board with all 120 perks then, I'll grit my teeth and accept it. But if it turns out people only want existing ones or reworks to the 99 perks, then it'll categorically demonstrate just how off-base Jagex can be in their data interpretation. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 26 Apr 2018 01:25 PM PDT The name could be misleading to new players. Can you just rename "Raids" soley to Liberation of Mazcab and use Raids instead of "Elite Dungeons?" [link] [comments] | ||
| Wear Two Cosmetic Titles - 1 Suffix + 1 Prefix Posted: 26 Apr 2018 09:32 PM PDT I believe allowing both a Suffix and Prefix cosmetic title to be worn and the same time (Prefix + Name + Suffix) unlocks a plethora of combinations and possibilities. Roleplay examples:
Non-Roleplay examples:
Would take some code, but I think such an update to cosmetic titles would benefit every player in the community in terms of customization, roleplay or general expressiveness. [link] [comments] | ||

| Conquest Adore (Trim comp req) is the biggest pyramid scheme in RuneScape Posted: 27 Apr 2018 05:20 AM PDT Conquest Adore is a trim comp req which requires ppl to get 1250 rank in Conquest. It can be done by winning Conquest games. The winner will advance in ranks while the loser loses some ranks. Assuming you don't use your own alt to gain ranks (which is against the rules), you'll have to find someone legit (probably a friend or a noob) and win 11 games to get 1250 ranks for the trim comp req. Then when the friend (or noob) wants to go for trim, they'll have to find another friend/noob (as you can't lose rank so can't do it for them) to win 11 games for 1250 ranks (possibly more as they'll have to go from 0 rank instead of 1000 ranks). Then the newer noob will have to find an even newer noob to beat for even more games to get 1250 ranks. The cycle goes on and on... Assuming everyone will go for trim or quit someday, this cannot be sustained forever. Suggestions: Either delete the req or change it to finish 10 games (random number, can be more for balancing). | Make a Double Thaler Reward Enhancer Posted: 26 Apr 2018 08:57 PM PDT Since unfocused reward enhancers are fairly rare from Maw/Merchant (also expensive), my suggestion is to create a new enhancer that doubles the amount of thaler received after completing a minigame. In terms of charges, an enhancer from the Maw could possibly have 400 charges, essentially giving you 800 total thaler (400 bonus). Unfocused reward enhancers would then have 200 charges once made. A charge would be lost upon every thaler you obtain, meaning that you would always get double thaler, and spotlighted minigames would still be the most efficient method of obtaining thaler. This would give players more options on achieving thaler rewards and/or trim reqs. [link] [comments] | ||
