I do not apologise for what I did, it was hilarious. RimTogether, a Co-Op Experience.
It was a Roller coaster full of betrayal, crushing disappointment and ill wishes of Rimworld-esq proportions.

Some of you may be salty, many may wish me to "hit your toe on something really heavy :)", which to be frank hurt my feelings. In addition, I was touched by the gross over-estimation some of you have in my video editing skills. I hope we can continue this lavish relationship.

Firstly I'd like to show appreciation to this inspired post, it made me cackle maniacally and make this even more worth it;

Now to address the shown obvious issues/bugs that were intentionally present in the terrible quality gif.

Though it appears some things like the wildlife and their positions are not synced.

At the moment I've excluded all pawns that aren't player controlled. However the job.target is still passed through, with the target being a Thing, the animal , the colonist pawn can still perform the job without the animal actually being synced via job and/or position.

 

One of the pawns in the north group has a different name for each window.

A naming issue, the names are actually the same, but for pawns with no nickname the displayed name is swapped around for some reason. Easy fix, just haven't done it as it doesn't affect functionality. Name example

 

until I saw that the pawns were in two different different positions.

There's some fixing i have to do in regards of the Starting and Ending of pawns.jobs, essentially if you look at the inital combat move at the beggining of the .gif, on the relevant pawns local theyre ahead of the same pawns on the remote client, so once they reach their destination and stop, the remote pawns stopped in the incorrect positions. I have a few ideas that will fix this through a bit of prediction and compensation.

 

Also they look different. One has green hair.

No they don't?

I really need plasteel, and there was barely any on my map, together with the fact that for some reason no merchant sells them to me, I was stranded. I decided to research deep drilling, but randy strikes again.

I'm having a good amount of issues with my network. I tried asking for help on the only guide I could find and on the forum post with no avail. I'm having issues with the temperatures of rooms bugging out and switching in split seconds from extremely high to extremely low temps.

The easiest yet most morally challenging way to kill a thrumbo (easier with CE)

Use a volley of incendiary launchers firing 1 by 1 directly at the thrumbo while others reload, since the process will take a while. See, the thrumbo can't attack while it's on fire, I recently managed to kill a thrumbo with only 20 or so shots with the launcher using only 1 pawn. The moral difficulty is that you basically have to cook a 100-year-old giant creature alive and watch it scream in agony for 3-4 hours before it's downed because of all the pain, at which point you can offer it the merciful relief of death. Well… the loot is worth it, let's not pretend that we don't make hats out of people, torch entire caravans for profit and harvest that captured 15 year old raider's organs because his skills are shite.

Failed Attack on Rival Town

So I loaded up five transport pods and shot them to a rival faction town with mortars, guns and food, only to have my two soldiers immediately drop from exhaustion (I assume they were tired from packing?). Frustrating situation. I want to take the fight to these guys! How do I make sure my guys are optimally ready for a fight/foreign occupation?
