| How we Made PATH OF EXILE: ROYALE Posted: 03 Apr 2018 04:49 PM PDT For our April Fool's day joke this year, we created a 100 player free-for-all battleground game mode called PATH OF EXILE: ROYALE. While many community members initially assumed the news was a fake announcement (as is typical with April Fool's jokes), the real joke was that we actually made a real game mode and ran it until the end of April 1.
