Link flairs aren't retroactive, so you will still see some fake Epic Comment flaired posts however, they will be in blue. If it's blue then its a fake epic comment flair, but if its in black there's a real comment in it.

You can also use this to track Epic posts. Cheers!

I've gone ahead and unflaired everything in new/hot, but just making this post in case an older post sneaks past.

God fucking dammit, please implement a proper Report & Kick feature & remove Impulse Grenades

I just ran into another game where a player did nothing but search every single container for Impulse Grenades & start throwing them at us in hopes of kicking us off the cliff where the Van was while we were defending. Once they ran out of grenades, they started sabotaging our defenses by editing stairs onto the top for the husks to drop into & smashing our walls with their pickaxe. The other 2 players I were with left when they noticed them doing this(one left after getting impulsed off & the other after they noticed their walls were getting destroyed). I left shortly after.

Impulse Grenades do nothing but encourage trolling, they aren't even useful against enemies or for jumping higher(you can use an explosive weapon or use stairs/play as a Ninja to climb higher) & structures need some kind of invincibility against pickaxes once the defenses start to prevent this kind of shit as well as a proper Report/Kick feature.

I am so god damn mad about this shit because the mission had an Epic Sniper Schematic I wanted, but when I tried doing the mission again, the bonus was gone. All because I left a mission where a "teammate" was actively sabotaging everything.

So 3 weeks ago I posted how I bought the Limited Edition of Fortnite and that I was charged but it said I never bought the game. I late, about 1 week and a 1/2 later I email them again. Same generic email response. So today I email them again, now very angry how I can't play the game I bought, which is now non-existent! Same generic response. You think a person paying 150$ and not receiving their digital goods would be a priorty right? NOPE. So if you see this epic please give me the game I was charged for. Enough is enough EPIC. You seriously need to implement PL requirements to join High Level Canny and Twine missions

This has gone on for way too long. Epic has addressed the AFK issue and that it is being looked into, but nothing on actually doing something about all the severely low leveled players joining public high level Canny and Twine missions for the rewards which have now been increased to include T4 mats/ epic and legendary schematics / v-bucks which entices more of this ridiculous behavior. You say you are are rewarding the high level players and late game players, but in reality you are also punishing us because now more and more low levels are joining in hopes the rest will carry them. It is very annoying and down right angering to be in a PL 64 mission only for 2 players PL 40 and PL 38 to join and do nothing the entire match except run around and die because they are not equipped for it. You placed the 4 player group missions behind SSD completions so why is nothing being done to prevent the severely lowed level players joining missions that they are not even close to having the PL for? Private missions are not the problem. If some of their buddies want to carry them in a private lobby then so be it, but the rest of us should NOT have to carry them or back out of a mission because they want to skip the actual work and time it takes to get to the level they should be at for the mission.

The LEECH problem NEEDS to be fixed Epic.

So i'm starting to notice the leech problem in STW is really starting to become a real problem(not that i really need to tell anyone here that). I've certainly been aware of the problem for a while but I've noticed that over the past month or so that it's been getting really out of hand. Here's a very recent example, me and two other friends were doing a level 64 retrieve the data, all of us being level 60 and above. we're all running around getting the materials we need to start fortifying the base when a random player joins the match and much to our dismay he's a 41. Now at the time me and my friends never cared too much about a persons level, just as long as they're willing to help in some way shape or form. So we're getting the base ready with traps and everything and we notice the balloon drops in 2 minutes or so and this guy is nowhere to be seen. So my friends and i, curious as all hell type into chat and ask him " hey buddy plan on helping us out at all or just looking for a free ride"? Nothing. Not one response. So i write "just a leech right"? Still nothing, so nothing left to do except to just start the match. Now there's only 40 seconds left in the match when this turd decides to finally respond with this....... "No I'm just smart enough to let other people do all the work for me while i get the rewards".

Unbe -fucking-lievable. Seriously, how this kind of shit is allowed to happen is so crazy. obviously there's worse things that I've heard of from other players but still, this is a problem that really needs some looking into. I have heard of a vote to kick system idea being thrown around but i noticed some people are a little intimidated by such a feature and understandably so, but at the moment it really seems like the simplest thing to do. What really sucks too now is this cynical view towards any random player that i'm starting to have. The first though that runs through my mind now when i see a random is "oh goodie another leech that just wants to be carried". it's such a shitty attitude to have but damn, i just can't help it now. I guess i'll close this shitty rant out with this......everybody please....don't be a shit eating leech, help your teammates, drop some materials for your constructor, ask if you should build some traps, use your damn bullets......this games got enough fucking problems as it is.

A lot of people I've talked to seem to not know this, but you can walk while pulling out your hover board now. You don't have to stand still anymore, but you cannot do it while running.

Especially now alerts have become more lucrative.

With the way quests are you don't always have a choice where you play. Having to avoid an alert because you want to save yours in case something you need pops up is really frustrating.

I get you want to limit us, but please let us choose whether we go for the alert reward or not while still allowing us to play the map.

  1. Open Fortnite, go to Save the World
  2. Open expedition. Only one gives you "people" resource. Disappointed.
  3. Collect research point.
  4. Check daily llama. Another 350. Disappointed.
  5. Check map. 9 missions on. 2 missions give rain drop. 3 missions for quest progress. No rescue the survivors mission. Disappointed.
  6. Try finding a group for quest progress missions for 5 minutes. No group. Disappointed.
  7. Try finding a group for rain drop. No group. Disappointed.
  8. Try "play with others". One group of 3. That mission is a waste of time. Disappointed.
  9. Check friend list. 1/19 online. Desperate.
  10. Go to global channel, ask for a group. No one responds. The request for a squad overshadowed by trade trade trade trade. Disappointed. 11.Press the X button. Curse the game. 12.Go back to step 1 after an hour.

No, this is not a scam. I was thrown into the bunny making mission and the other players had already built the bunny. I barely had enough time to hear Penny tell Ray about how she named the bunny...and I never even got to see the build. I actually feel guilty about it, but I'll take the Vbucks for 20 seconds of my time. Kk thx.

The more people in a game, the harder it is and vice versa. Im sick of having people leave a mission 20 minutes in and im left solo to lose. If people leave the mission gets easier and if they join it gets harder.

New Missions Suggestion

I have a suggestion for Fortnite that I would like to share. I thought of new unique and enjoyable missions that could be added in the future. I'm going to be using examples that include Ray's lines to help you get a better understanding of the missions. I'm not the best story writer so.. please bear with me! Hope you all like it.

Prepare the Feast -

Ray: "Mission accomplished with rescuing the survivors but we have another problem... we won't have them around for much longer if we no longer have any food in stock! We need to grow some fruits and vegetables to feed the survivors so get out there, get some seeds, and start planting!"

Objective 1: Find a suitable garden. Objective 2: Gather 25 seeds found in bushes, flowers, pots, etc. Objective 3: Plant all the seeds in the garden. Objective 4: Turn on the garden hose (triggers storm defense sequence) Objective 5: Defeat the storm and bring back the sunlight. Mission success!

Operation Jailbreak -

Ray: "Well commanders.. we're going to serve and protect today! Well um.. we already do that but today we're going to help out our fellow police officers! The police station nearby is getting overrun by the husks and the officers need our help moving the prisoners to a safer location. Move out and give them a hand!"

Objective 1: Find the Police Station and speak to the officers. Objective 2: Defend the station with the two officers from the wave of husks. (Officers act as defenders with pistol and shotgun.) Objective 3: Break open the cells and speak to the prisoners. Objective 4: Escort the prisoners to the police car. (Mission fails if they die)

Rock on the Storm! -

Ray: "Killing husks and protecting survivors all day can get pretty gloomy don't you think? I think I know just the solution to that... music! Yeah! We should get a concert going! We'll sing, smile, and even dance with the husks! Uh.. let's change that last part to killing husks while dancing! That sounds like a plan. Set up a stage, grab some stars, and rock on the storm!"

Objective 1: Find the stage grid. Objective 2: Build the stage. Objective 3: Find items to prepare the concert. (Guitars, microphones, etc.) Objective 4: Setup the stage and place the items. Objective 5: Find and rescue 3 rockstars and speak to them. Objective 6: Turn on the lights. (Starts storm fight) Objective 7: Defend the stage until the music is over. Mission success!

Likes: Grinding mats, missions, unlocking llamas, growing more powerful as I put more effort into the game.

Dislikes: Scammers in chat that should of been dealt with a long time ago, People afk, farming when you're trying to do a mission, Low level players leeching off of properly leveled players, LLama loot progression ONLY -- unless you get LUCKY and get a drop from an event with the right rolls.

Having a great time. I see myself lasting another week, maybe two.

The community is just pure anal leakage. If reddit had a butthole that had sores and leaked, that would encompass the fortnite community. :P

Tips for new players:

  1. DO NOT TRADE (I never did because I like normal progression.)

  2. Help new players out -- this game is full of depth and overwhelms noobs, so taking the time to show them where to farm nuts and bolts may make you a friend and help build a better community.

  3. Don't spend any currency until you have a plan and know it's the right one.

  4. Do NOT buy a llama that isn't prefixed with the "troll" name; EVER.

  5. DO NOT TRADE EVER.

  6. You can solo a lot of things -- use defenders and a good base build strategy (See youtube).

  7. Be nice, make friends, don't beg.
