Recently been playing Grim Dawn a ton and love it, but grinded veteran/elite+AoM 100% and just couldn't make the effort to play Ultimate just yet, felt like playing Path of Exile again but after reading around it seems like the current league is quite dull and no interesting changes came with it, they seem to be making something fun for next league in early June but until then I got no ARPG to play. So I've been itching to play Diablo again but not sure which one, Diablo 3 is quite fun and haven't played the Necro yet so thinking about doing that, but same there as with PoE, read around that this season didn't bring much in terms of changes or extra content so maybe I want to wait until next season, when is that and do we have any clue if there will be a patch with it or just straight up new season? Seems there is a lot of talk about Diablo 4 or Diablo 1 or 2 remaster/remake news hitting the next Blizzcon so looking forward to that. As far as Diablo 2 goes, pretty sure I don't wanna play D2 battlenet unless a juicy 1.15 patch hits which I'm guessing is very unlikely, so I've been looking into private servers and mods, but there is a ton and I don't know what to play, what I've found popular among people are the PlugY mod, something called "glide", pathofdiablo, slashdiablo and medianXL, can anyone with expierience tell me about them? Singleplayer Diablo 2 I always thought the dropchance for legendaries/set pieces and mid lvl runes while lvling were way to low, and even at hell farming it seemed to hard to get the right BiS gear and runes you wanted, is there any mod or private servers that skews that just a little? After we use Rama's gifts for sockets, most people usually hoard it and have nothing else to use it for. I don't think it will break the game allowing us to reforge an item for the sacrifice of one Rama's gift. It will give us another option instead of bounties to reforge an item and make hunting for a rama's gift fun again. Also, we should have an option to make an item unsalvageable like your legendary potion in your inventory. Accidents can happen and a player might accidently salvage a gear they're wearing. Posted: 14 Apr 2018 02:49 AM PDT So all I want really is to be able to play with many people, I don't like playing single player so my aim is to be able to chill and play games with different players. However, I haven't played in like 7-8 years and I just noticed there are several private server with different mods or just like the original but with some balance changes... Honestly I'm lost. I'm a bit afraid of Battle.net because of the bots and spam and I will get once I log in... Any tips on what private servers should I try? Or maybe if it is even worth it to try private servers. | Advice for joining multiplayer. Posted: 13 Apr 2018 04:45 PM PDT Hi r/Diablo. I took a long break from D3, but came back about a month or two ago, bought RoS, and made a Season character. My monk has the seasonal Sunwuko set, geared for Wave of Light build, but I haven't been really picky about gear stats yet. I'm Paragon level 650. I've played exclusively solo since coming back (and hardly ever before then). I'm considering seeing what the multiplayer scene is all about, but I'm a total newb there. I want to be useful to the groups I join and not do stupid stuff because I don't know better yet. So what advice can you give me? What should I expect? Any definite Dos or Don'ts?
