Blizz please don't let silenced players use voice chat!

They are silenced for a reason, I know I can just mute them but still I dislike hearing how bad I am and a string of curse words at me before I have to mute. Why can a silenced player use it to start is beyond me.

Edit: Not talking about toxicity being a problem or not, just saying it's baffling how a silenced player can voice chat at all.

So, as the title says, thank you Blizzard for placing the Latam HGC in the Blizzard APP. Not only the views increased greatly based on the previous years, but it opened a window for new people to meet this game. There were several people on chat who had never played this game and joined the stream due to Blizzard App (or battlenet, whatever you call it) and it's views in Twitch.

Also, this year's HGC in Latam was quite interesting. The former champions have disbanded/stopped playing and the current teams are quite balanced in their play skill.

I know that our level here in Latam is not even close to Europe or even NA (LUL), but it has always been enjoyable to watch. The main problem here in SA is that Blizzard really fails in publishing their activities for the community. The lack of communication is a serious issue, many people had absolutely NO IDEA that our HGC would start this week.

Anyways, HUGE Thanks to the Blizzard team for (finnally!!) hosting a Heroes of the Storm stream in the APP around here :)

Ever since this last patch I have decided to play again Blizzard other titles, mainly Hearthstone and WoW, but at times I check in the StarCraft, Diablo, and Overwatch subreddit because each one have their own events (SC anniversary, Deckard Cain announced, Overwatch new mission brawl).

I noticed that on each subreddit that whenever HoTs is mentioned people seem like they are jealous with what the HoTs team has offered.

We have a better looking Alexstraza, Rexxar, we have a heroes from Diablo 2 and Diablo 3, we have meme heroes like Murky, Abathur, Deckard soon, we have plenty of voiceline interactions and different franchise synergies that are a reality because of HoTs (Abathur hat-Illidan, Cho'gall with Ana boost, Lucio-Butcher speed to name a few). Zarya has a cool skin, Greymane gets a lot of attention compared to his WoW counterpart.

Our lootbox system is a lot healthier than the Overwatch counterpart, our daily quests don't force a gimmick on your playstyle (Play 20 pirate cards for 50gold in Hearthstone).

The best part is that we get updates way more frequently than their other IPs, OW gets 2 heroes more or less a year, Starcrafts gets a CO-OP commander every blue moon, and WoW is the closest thing to getting plenty of updates but they still have a longer timeframe than us.

TL;DR: Thank you HoTs team for putting in love into this Free 2 Play game, I am so happy that HoTs exists even with all of its ugly features its had over the years, you're still as beautiful as we first met.

Heroes Hearth vs Tempo Storm Late Game Shotcalling Analysis

Heroes Hearth (HHE) and Tempo Storm (TS) played a fantastic game on Dragon Shire today. HHE made a brilliant shot call late game that I almost never see in Hero League games. HHE drafted a good team fighting comp (Garrosh, Thrall, Maiev, Chromie, Malfurion) that struggled with wave clear. As a result, they weren't able to deal much structure damage all game and had lost their bot keep. However, HHE was able to win a late game team fight.

TS had a camp pushing top lane. Now most Hero League games would have one or more people go top lane to clear the camp. But HHE smartly identified their win condition. They have a strong team fighting comp, a numbers advantage, and a powerful late game Dragon Knight. Instead of trying to defend a meaningless keep, HHE went for the win.

HHE is able to take down the bot keep and secure key kills on Blaze and Fenix. However, they lose Thrall in the process. Again, most Hero Leaguers would retreat at this point. But HHE knows that even 4v3+core they still have a better team fight. HHE sticks around, picks up another kill, and wins the game.

HHE did a fantastic job of identifying their win condition (team fighting) and didn't let losing a keep or losing one teammate distract them from their ultimate objective of killing the enemy core.

FIY Rexar is seriously bugged on Haunted Mines

So I haven't touched Rex for several months and yesterday I gave him a try in QM and discovered a bug. I don't know if it is well known or not but here it is. Giving orders to Misha inside the mines and then coming out of them makes her go to the bottom point of the map. She doesn't reply to any commands after that and this continues until Rexar dies or Misha takes damage (which is very unlikely as she is standing behind middle bottom bushes). This is kinda serious as Rexar is super useless without Misha. I have to say this added up with all other problems in QM right now and as a result I felt really frustrated after this game (sry for rant). Hope at least this will be fixed before Mines will be in HL rotation.

I know your roadmap might have to be a little looser, but instead of everyone having to wonder what new features will be coming "Soon", it would be nice to get a vision of what you are trying to do for the game, and maybe allow us to give some input on whether we think one feature would be more important and desired over another, so you can give the community what they request in a reasonable amount of time. And thanks for answering our concerns in the AMA.

Title. I would really like to have a weekly esports thread that would include HGC and Open Division discussions just like we have a Rage thread on Wednesday and a Beginner thread on Thursday. I know that we already have threads to the single games in HGC, however, I think a thread for general discussion about our pro scene would be nice to have. This thread could also be useful for newbies who don't know much about the HGC and want to ask questions. I think we don't have anything on Tuesday so that would be a good day to let the impressions from last weekend's HGC sink in and doesn't interfere with the actual matches.

Title says it. It feels like shit to stack 65% slow on genji/tracer as KT and they still chase you like nothing happened. Works the same when they're escaping. If you think, that this idea isn't good then pls, explain to me, why

Greetings, everyone. Today I decided to get back to HotS after some months without playing, but the amount of delay in the game is absurd, to the point of making it unplayable. When I click somewhere, my character takes 1-2 secs to do the action. This is happening in PvP and vsAI as well. I have a good computer: it runs Overwatch, WoW and Dark Souls 3 at maximum settings, so why this delay in HotS? My Internet is also fine, can play any game normally but HotS.

Battlefield of Eternity strategy question: stay as a 5-man or split for some to defend your immortal?

On BoE is it better for 2-4 teammates to defend your immortal while your immortal killer (Valla, Artantis, Greymane, etc) chunks the enemy immortal or should you stay as a 5-man in all situations?

Context: I often play Artanis on this map. If we fall behind in the immortal race, sometimes my team will move to defend our immortal. As Artanis I'm not sure if I should join the defense or stay on the enemy immortal and try to win the race while the other 4 on my team distracts the enemy. I'm gold tier, so team coordination is low. How do you all strategize on this map? It's one of my favorite maps.
