Thorin about Valve - "Counterstrike has made revenue for Valve of something like a billion dollars - yet they still don't have a full team of people working on maps (...) it blows my mind."

Posted: 27 Apr 2018 05:06 AM PDT

Full criticism of Thorin:

"Counterstrike has made revenue for Valve of something like - well, principaly the better part of a billion dollars - yet they still don't have a full team of people working on maps, designing an approach to having new maps, figuring out what core elements make a good map, having official seasons that we can test maps and smalls tournaments then bring them into play - it blows my mind."

(talking about starcraft in 2000s that did that)

"I can't believe Valve still not does this. It blows my mind."

EDIT: here is the link to the video in which Thorin talks about Valve: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8hNqkRpgP-0 This criticism is said from minute 7 and onwards.

EDIT 2: A lot of people here keep on saying the same thing over and over again. Yes, we all know Valve is a company that only wants more money, but the way they treat their game and it's community is pityful and even if they make good money, we (I'm speaking for the whole community) are in our rights to complain about unfair and lacking stuff in the game, since we all want to improve it because we love it. I (now I'm speaking only for myself) feel really let down by their approach to the community and by their lack of effort for the game.

The Danes are only proving stanislaw's point

Posted: 27 Apr 2018 04:40 PM PDT

The Danes are acting childish and only making them selves look worse with these tweets. Kind of surprised OpTic would even allow this.

Shox: That was my last meeting with the specialist: He is very happy about the result - I’m one of his best surgery, couldn’t be more perfect at this point - I got 90% of my capacities, the rest will just come with the time it’s normal

Stanislaw: Not only am I excited to continue playing with Shahz, but I'm also really happy to be joining such a legendary organization. Jason Lake and everyone at coL share the same vision as I do, so thank you for making this happen!
