CS:GO needs a casual 5v5 Gamemode

Posted: 14 Apr 2018 06:33 AM PDT

Hello guys,

something's bothering me for quite some time now with this game. For the beginning, i play CS:GO for like 3 years now and i still love it to death, learning on and on and improving myself alongside my team, but here's the thing:

Recently my friend convinced me to play some League of Legends with him, and honestly, i really enjoyed it, but what caught my attention the most are the Gamemodes LoL provides: Besides the classic 5v5 ranked system, there is also a casual 5v5 gamemode, exactly like a normal ranked game but without any elo, mmr etc. My experience with this mode has been great so far, people are way more relaxed, having a good time and being nice to each other because everyone knows that u solely play for fun.

Now i know that there are community servers in CS:GO which provide this kind of matchmaking, but i dont think people take it actually serious and just leave when they feel like it, because there's no real commitment to the game. I would LOVE the idea of Valve actually thinking about this 'Casual 5v5', which in my opinion is the best possibility for players to just relax, have fun and play the game for itself, not just for their ranks.

What do you people think about this idea? Looking forward for the comments!
