Milestone Powerful Engrams Posted: 03 Mar 2018 05:57 AM PST Got a question for you gurus out there regarding the powerful engrams rewarded from the weekly milestones. I had taken a bit of time off from the game for most of January and parts of February, but since I've come back, these engrams only seems to spit out Ophidian Aspects and Aeon Souls for me every week (on top of whatever legendary weapon chooses to drop). While these are fun exotics and I like being able to max out an arm piece immediately upon it dropping, I don't really need them. Has anyone else encountered this? Weapon Musings from a bored guardian. Posted: 03 Mar 2018 03:09 AM PST Been thinking a lot about what I miss from D1 and how to fold them into D2. Heavy Machine guns.. or a new equivalent. An inspiration came from the Mida Mini/Multitool We have Sweet Business, I propose for a Power weapon... Serious Business Exotic Auto Rifle (Heavy Machine Gun) "...Heh hehehehehehehehe." Perks * Synergy - Can be equipped with Sweet Business, doing so affects movement speed (down probably) * Win-Win - Every other shot is Solar Damage (Equipping Void or Arc mod gives dual damage types.) * High Caliber Rounds * Business Time * Crowd Control Stats *RPM: 600-720 *Impact: 25-35 *Range: 40 *Stability: 35 *Magazine: ??? (200 rounds per mag, can carry 350-450, Crucible drop grants 150) *Reload: 7 *Handling: 7 Basic idea is that this is Two rotating cylinders (side by side or maybe concentric counter rotating) A companion to the Sweet Business OR.... Energy weapon Pick Your Brain Exotic Pulse Rifle "The Industry Standard" Perks * Synergy - Can be equipped with Sweet Business, doing so affects movement speed (down probably) * Return on Investment - Fires 3 rounds simultaneously (Essentially making this a scout with 3 projectiles) * Sun Blast or Arc Blast (Like Sunshot's sunblast, but... you know... Arc) * Triple Tap - Precision shots return a round to magazine * Steady Rounds Stats *RPM: 270-300 *Impact: 63 *Range: 45 *Stability: 35 *Magazine: 9 (up to 12 rounds if you land 3 precision kills) *Reload: 60 *Handling: 60 I Imagine this one being a rifle with three fixed barrels and a cylinder mag, Imagine a three pronged Bullpup Rossi Circuit Judge. ... As I said, i'm very bored right now. Either could be Legendary instead, change the synergy to "Hostile Takeover" where one would pull from the other's ammo reserves at a 2:1 exchange rate. Other things that popped into my mind. I think it'd be cool to get the Bannerfall crucible map back, now that the tower is destroyed/damaged. New element? Ice/frost possibly, typical effects from every other game with elemental based damage. Maybe something corrosive like Slag in Borderlands (but green) Whatever that red dmg that Hive send out is. Calus, the actual guy. Final Leviathan Raid Lair and I fully expect him to be 3 foot tall. Eris, on on Titan, and a Titan Raid. (Earth Raid, Mars Raid... More goddamn Raids) Go back to the old shader system while keeping the ability to apply to individual items... And Eva Levante. And who/where the hell is the speaker? Titan Exotic Idea: Fists of Wei Ning Posted: 03 Mar 2018 03:24 AM PST Been reading a bit about her and would love a piece of gear based off her :) So here's my scandal. Fists of Wei Ning: Exotic Gauntlets • Melee hits knock enemies back harder. Knocking enemies into something creates a small explosion (Into a wall or enemy). • Enemies killed through knockback restore a portion of melee energy. I see these as being a bit of fun, just punching a mob into a group of mobs and watch them blow up. Dear Bungie, please don't botch the upcoming go fast update Posted: 03 Mar 2018 08:43 AM PST If your going to make us "go fast" then do it proper and make it like d1 again, not a slight improvement of the terrible system in d2. We as a community are counting on you to make things right again, and not just give us a slight improvement.. we want full blown warlock gliding, full on Hunter control jump and of course titan skating. People stuck around for d1 not because of the story, but because it felt good to play, the movement was amazing, the gun play crispy. But once the story in d2 is done people aren't sticking around because it's boring as hell to play.
