Editor Paradrop Questions Posted: 01 Mar 2018 11:58 AM PST I'm having a bit of difficulty tracking down conclusive talk on how to conduct more complex paradrops, id esta, the supply crates and vehicles that'll go with it. SItuation: Trying to create a VDV paradrop. I'm tracking on how to conduct the troops themselves dropping, but having a hard time with their supply crates for their weapons as well as their BMDs. I'm trying to at this point just get the supply crates and vehicles spawned in air with a vehicle. Now it should be noted this isn't difficult to do in Zeus, but I want this to be done when it's loaded in the editor. Does Arma 3 Delete Keybindings for Unplugged Controllers? Posted: 01 Mar 2018 02:23 PM PST I own Arma 2 and love it, but the one feature I absolutely can not stand about the game (and would make me purchase Arma 3 in a heartbeat if it's fixed) is the fact that it unmaps EVERY control that I map to my flight stick setup when I start the game (if it's not plugged in). I love using my flight stick in Arma and it works well for me but I also want to play without it sometimes. This damn near makes it impossible to fly for me as my flying controls are mapped to the stick only. Does Arma 3 save the keybindings for every controller whether it is plugged in or not? That way I don't have to remap my flight controls every time I want to fly having not plugged in the stick previously. Or does it also unmap all of the controls for controllers that aren't currently plugged in on game startup? PS. it does this for every controller that isn't plugged in on Arma 2 startup, but I use the flight stick the most which is why this is such an inconvenience for me. submitted by /u/SixBull [link] [comments]
