Maxing/starting mana leak vs illuminate on kotl Posted: 31 Jan 2018 01:35 PM PST While illuminate seems like a good spell for farming/nuking/harassing I feel like mana leak is just so much better in terms of getting off ganks and harassing the offlaner It's harder to regen mana early than it is to regen health and they have to choose whether to take damage from the other support and the carry or lose all their mana. I've seen both builds and wondering what your thoughts are. [link] [comments]
Abuse Enchantress offlane as of now. Posted: 31 Jan 2018 02:35 AM PST If the enemy doesnt have heavy magic damage or spell immune, abuse the fact that you can have a strong neutral creep with you as early as level 2 and destroy the lane with that creep. Don't wanna lane? Try jungle since you yourself have creeps but this is not good practice since when you hit level 2, you're pretty strong right now. A sure lvl 2 is a creep pull on the first or second wave between the 1st and 2nd tower. You already accomplished your mission if you managed to fuck with the carry/support, or there is a trilane. Giving more chance on the other lanes. [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Jan 2018 10:55 AM PST Yes, this is serious. Hear me out. I really like playing Skywrath Mage, especially as a core. He can put out tons of damage from a distance, he can lock down slippery heroes, and his Aghs is one of my favorite in the game. He has a few big weaknesses, however: he's squishy, his spells cost a lot of mana to spam, he farms extremely slowly, and he is garbage at pushing towers. He is very strong early game, when he can easily bully out his opponents with his Q, and he is great when he gets items, but he can really struggle to get there. Enter the Meteor Hammer. For 2,600gp this item gives some great stats: strength, intelligence, HP and mana regen - all things that benefit Skywrath. Then there's the active, which gives something that Skywrath desperately needs: waveclear and push potential. You can use it to quickly farm a wave and then roam for kills, or contribute to taking buildings after winning a fight. I think that it's a better alternative to Midas if you want to accelerate your farm while actively fighting early game. I think the build order might look like Boots -> Meteor Hammer -> Kaya/Rod/Lens -> Aghs. I like making Meteor Hammer memes as much as the next guy, but this seems like it could be a somewhat plausible use for the item. What do you all think? [link] [comments]
What would be the best way to nerf Pango? Posted: 31 Jan 2018 06:55 AM PST (This is all theorycrafting so if my ideas are awful don't focus on them I'm just trying to create a discussion) What do people believe should be nerfed for the most part? Right now most people find his E fine, and his W I rarely see complained about too so what do people think? IMO his ult isn't the broken part about the hero except maybe a little higher CD on it, the issue is how strong his Q is mid-late game. Should they make it so Javelins proc less (similiar to how Maelstorm/Tesla Drow) got nerfed, or make his Q not stun with basher like MK? The consensus is he's OP but how would you go about nerfing him without making him garbage? [link] [comments]
What are some good pos1 carries that are fairly difficult to play? Posted: 31 Jan 2018 10:09 AM PST I normally play pos2/3/5 and was thinking of picking up a pos1, but my issue is that a lot of pos1 heroes like pa, medusa, etc have a fairly low skill ceiling as opposed to my normal hero pool (storm, timber, Arc). What are some good hard carries that take a lot of skill? [link] [comments]
