Posted: 15 Feb 2018 04:06 PM PST Hey all it's Champ again from 2GG, While I was here on reddit yesterday telling people they're free (sorry), I can't help but noticed all the current Smash 4 discussion going on lately in this part of the town. Heck, my personal DM and 2GG's DM are blowing up with requests since this past weekend. So I got to thinking, Do you really want us to host an event with the following adjustments to the rule set: • No Cloud in doubles • No Bayo in singles • No Lylat Cruise • Allow customs to Palutena & Miis Unlike last year where we had obligations to fulfill due to our sponsor, we don't need to do that anymore. So, we can host an event just like this if people really want it. My only concern is that this just might be the vocal minority. We can't invest time and resources into an event if no one is going to watch or show up if the event happens. So, let me know. Do you want to see this happen? Would you attend? Would you watch? If this is something the community wants to see, even if its just once, I will heavily consider it. Thanks all! | I Feel So Happy To Be A Sm4sh Fan Right Now Posted: 15 Feb 2018 05:27 PM PST Following the Frostbite Grand Finals, there was a lot of salt and raw emotion here, and it felt terrible to see as a Sm4sh fan, because as I posted about, getting angry at things, then not contributing to make a change, or doing so only in token ways, like ranting on reddit only makes people more angry and sad than they were before at the lack of change.
However, in the past few days, I have seen great posts that attempt to address both sides in fair ways, and importantly, real solutions being calmly suggested instead of screaming at each other like the days following grands.
And even better, I the last few hours, I have seen community leaders, top players and TO's do the best possible thing for the community, take real steps, facilitate real discussions, listen to feedback from the community, take leadership etc. Here are some examples that I am talking about:
Major TO and Community Leader listening to feedback and making suggestions to take real steps ZeRo, biggest figurehead in Smash 4 taking on the issues in a frank, honest but fair and calm way Major Community Leader acting like one and taking real steps to discuss issues Top player attempting to reduce misinformation and communicate with the community Top Players trying to help the community in a practical way Posters at least attempting to get empirical evidence instead of anecdotal, however flawed it may be Poster taking time and effort to make sure all voices are heard, discussed and criticized
This is what an healthy community looks like, This is what a passionate community does, This is what a strong community does, This is what a determined community does This is what the ideal community is. And I am so happy that it is the Sm4sh community that is doing this.

Posted: 15 Feb 2018 12:08 PM PST I keep hearing the argument that Bayo is killing viewership, followed by the counterargument that we have no proof that she is the reason people don't watch. This post is to find out if Bayonetta is the reason that people tune out of a stream, more specifically, Frostbite 2018's Top 8. Please answer honestly, and I apologize if I'm missing any option that multiple would've voted for.
