New adventure grind is too much

Is Hi-Rez high with this new adventure? If you want ONE of these ratatoskr skins you need 90,000 points. Each game takes about 15 minutes and if you 4 star average you will get 2000-2500 WITH the bundle purchased. So with the bundle purchased it will take approximately 36 runs to get 90,000 points and I'm being generous here. 36 runs times 15 minutes each is 540 minutes, or 9 hours of playing this adventure... for one skin. Now repeat that for the other 2 and it's 27 hours of grinding WITH the bundle without it 54 HOURS. And this adventure is not very re playable. They would have to HALF the time it takes to get these skins for me to even consider buying the bundle and going for them.

TL;DR 27 hours of grinding this boring adventure to get all of the ratatoskr skins, 54 hours without...ok

Can we just remove the stacking component from Soul Eater?

Most people would already consider the passive as lackluster, do to it being a measly 10%, so why are we further pushing it past being useful by delaying it's only purpose?

I could actually see it being a pick up on gods like Susano, Ratatoskr, anyone who lacks good sustain, etc... in the solo lane, as a first item rush. Unfortunately, this isn't very viable, because it takes to long to come online. First you have to deal with no sustain while actually getting the gold for the item, and then your still stuck stacking the shit item for however long. It just takes absolutely way to long to get something you would want as fast as possible.

In order to be viable in the solo lane, it's reasonable to say you either need to be a lane bully, or you need to have the sustain to keep yourself from being pushed out of lane every two seconds. By putting this item behind a stacking wall, it ends up taking to long for it to be a viable way to get some sustain on gods that otherwise wouldn't have it.

If this isn't a solo lane sustain item for gods that need it, then I don't know it's purpose. Ability based hunters would still prefer something like Asi or Bloodforge due to auto attack sustain just being way better at all points in the game. Junglers have Assassins Blessing and don't have to deal with lane boxing and poke. So what is the purpose of this item, if it's to difficult to make work in the solo lane?

I absolutely love the passive of this item, I just wish it was more impactful, and wasn't such a detriment to build. Please remove the stacking mechanic and perhaps slightly buff the passive to make it feel better.

Hello Everyone, For those of you who frequent this sub or watch Twitch streams you have probably read a post or have seen my streams. For those of you who don't have a clue who I am let me give you guys some info.

This Coming Sunday will mark the end of my first month streaming and playing alongside you guys in Smite. It has been a glorious month filled with Hope, Ambition, Failure, Success, Laughs, and some Salt. I have had a marvelous time and I am learning so much. I set some goals for myself coming over to this game from Paragon (RiP).

I swear I have a reason for this post Ill get to it shortly. Some background on myself if I may to let you all know me personally. My name is Spencer I go by Bearded or Tehbeardedgamer. I am about to turn 29 years old on the 24th of Feb. I have been gaming online since 1995 with Serria Entertainments Starseige Tribes. Shazbot! I am a Disabled Veteran of the USMC. I Spent 2 years as A security forces Marine and 4 years as A grunt. I have been through a lot but that does not make me better than anyone else everyone has their own struggles to face and Trials to overcome. I find it extremely difficult to be in public because of PTSD Issued that can cause me to have an anxiety attack or might put me in a position to hurt myself or those around me if something sets me off, Although over the past few years it has gotten better I still struggle with this. I have constant Migraines and a moderat 6/10 back pain all the time. These problems I face make working a normal job not only tedious but also difficult.

A lot of people have criticized me for giving up everything to pursue Streaming as a career. I've quit working and sold most of what I own in order to pay off student loans and debt so I can give myself 6 months to make streaming sustainable for me. Bearded, why would you do that? Isn't it risky and immature of you to do that? Yeah it is, but I can't help the fact that I love doing it. I love the interaction, I love the community and friends I've made. It's been a great outlet and allowed me to remain social and I would venture to say Therapeutic in many ways. I don't have any false notions. I don't expect to be Lirik, or Sodapoppin or Summit. I Just want to do what I love to do and spent my time with you guys. I don't do it for money, Lets be honest I've made $200 in the last 3 weeks doing this and That's okay with me, its keeps me fed and that's about all that I need.

All that being said this post is to ask you guys for feedback on my streams. I'd like to know what the community thinks and what I can do to improve my stream. I'd like to know from other content creators what I can do to support your channels and videos. I'd like to know what kind of content is missing that I might be able to create for all of us to enjoy. If you have any feedback good or bad, I am all eyes and ears. I am willing to take it all to heart and correct deficiencies I have and bolster my successes.

Last Thing. In Honor of meeting my short term goals and It Being my birthday I will be doing a 24 Hour Live stream Sunday starting at 6pm CST (Twitch.tv/tehbeardedgamer) Many of you sent me pm's asking if you could donate Skin codes and God Packs or gems for giveaways. Anything that is given to me will be given away during the stream to members of this awesome community. I plan to give away some Skin Codes and currently 1 Ultimate God Pack during that stream. ( I will do more if I can afford it or they are gifted to me for giveaways.)

Last Last thing. I want to say thank you to all of you. The great majority of you, roughly 2700 unique persons have visited my stream and chatted with me or sent me a friend request in game or sent me private messages with tips and suggestions on how to improve in smite. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart, This is honestly the most welcoming and supportive gaming community I have ever seen in my online gaming experience.

Cerb ult makes 0 sense

So in S5 , his ult is now a knockup... Okay

Every passive (Terra) and knockup immune ability (Isis,Nike,Daji ect.) won't knock these guys up. Heck JingWei can dash out of his "knock-up" ult.

But you think this all makes sense, and it does... counter knockups are not uncommon thing in smite.

But you can also beads out of his "knock-up" while in the air, making it only ability in the game to do such a thing.

Why?

Casual joust sweaty af

I've played at least 5 casual joust games against 3 masters/grandmaster players all queuing together in the past 2 days. They run op sweaty ass comps and spam laugh the entire game lmao. It's so funny because I'm solo queuing and get 2 potatoes on my team. Ranked joust players are hilarious to me because they run team comps that just can't be beaten even in casuals. Especially if the other team isn't playing together. Lmao at all the ranked joust mains out there that are running sweaty comps in casual joust, probably testing comps out and items etc for actual ranked joust. That's how you know joust is the sweatiest mode in the game. We got ranked joust mains playing casual joust to test comps out before queuing ranked. "Come on guys let's just que casual first... I don't want to come across the sweatytryhard clan again with a comp we haven't ran yet".

[God Concept] Narcissus, the Conceited

Summary : Narcissus is an agressive support character that can mainly be defined by his high-cc potential and ability to manipulate enemies' targetting. Incredibly annoying for hunters and any AA-based character in the game, he's a good initiatior and chaser. However, his long CDs and the necessary management of his Reflection create a steep slope of learning. Finally, his lack of peel and self-peel may require a somewhat autonomous hunter.

Appearance : A handsome and lean young Mediterranean man, with short and curly brown hair and eyes of the same color. He is dressed in a blue and white toga, and wears a laurel wreath. All of his clothes are wet.

Barefoot, his walking animation is similar to Thot's, with a small but noticeable puddle of water forming where he walks.

He carries a small and taintless silver mirror in his right hand, which he looks at while out of combat. His left hand, staying behind his back while out of combat, is the one used to fire AAs.

Abilities :

 

  • Passive : Gaze Catcher

Enemies looking in Narcissus' direction lose 2.5% of their protections each .5s up to a maximum of 5 times. This debuff lasts 3s.

 

  • 1st Ability : Obsession Wave

Narcissus sends a ripple in a cone-shaped area (the length of a minion wave). Enemies hit are dealt 70/120/170/220/270 (+25% of your Magical Power) and slowed by 20/25/30/35/40% for 3s. If the enemies hit do not face Narcissus, they are dealt 50% more damage and are stunned for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2s.

Cost : 70/75/80/85/90

Cooldown : 17/16/15/14/13s

 

  • 2nd Ability : Pond Reflection

Narcissus summons at the target location a reflection of himself. The reflection possess the same movement speed as Narcissus, shares the same passive, and will copy every moves, AAs and abilities used by Narcissus. The reflection lasts 3/4/5/6/7s.

Cost : 90/100/110/120/130

Cooldown : 20/19/18/17/16s

Precisions : While Pond Reflection is active, a ground targeter will appear as an alternative cursor for Narcissus' player. The Reflection (and by default, Narcissus too) will look in the direction of the targeter while moving, strafing, AAing, and using abilities. Moreover, the Reflection's passive stacks independently from Narcissus' passive. The Reflection's AAs deal no damage, and cannot proc items. However, the Reflection's abilities can proc items.

The Reflection cannot be muted, stunned, rooted, slowed, or cc'd in any way, but it can be damaged and disappear when its health reach 0.

The Reflection provides vision in a really small area around it (just enough to see melee attackers in the fog of war).

 

  • 3rd Ability : Vanity Dive

Narcissus dives in the puddle under him and emerges at the target location (counts as a leap), dealing 50/80/110/140/170 (+15% of your Magical Power) and taunting nearby enemy Gods for 0.5/0.75/1/1.25/1.5s. Each God hit reduces the cooldown of this ability by 1s (up to 5s).

Cost : 40/60/80/100/120

Cooldown : 14s

 

  • Ultimate : Egocenter

Narcissus catches the attention of all enemy Gods present in an area around him (the same size as Zhong Kui's ultimate) for a duration of 4/5/6/7/8s. While in the area, enemy Gods are forced to look in Narcissus' direction for a maximum of 5s. Furthermore, 20% of the damage dealt to any ally God in the area is redirected to Narcissus, while beneficing himself of 5/10/15/20/25% damage mitigation.

Cost : 120

Cooldown : 100s

Precisions : The Reflection can also copy the Ultimate. If an enemy God is present in the Ultimate's area of both Narcissus and his Reflection, they will look at the Reflection in priority, until they leave the Reflection's area, the Reflection expires or the Ultimate ends. The Reflection will also absorb 20% of any damage dealt to ally Gods (except Narcissus) in its Ultimate area.

Ive been Playing support for three years, and I can honestly say that, I have never had more fun with a support than I have had in the past couple days playing Serqet.

The current Hunter meta has forced me to exile all of the guardians save ganesh from my god pool. For the most part, I have been exclusively been playing warriors. But i watched emily's tier list video and saw that he had Serqet at S+.

At first I was like "there is no way". I tried her in clash, I went 4/2/22..... Again i was like ok that was fun but no way it works in conquest.

I went 5/5/26 and we won handedly.

The next game i was a little more cautious, I died less and but it had the same results.

The amount of utility she brings to the team is insane! She is also tanky as fuck Guards bless>swiftboots>guantlet>sov> heart > shifters> urchin, she gets in ccs, gets out all while your team is pouring damage on the enemy and those idiots usually chase you because they think your squishy.

And dont even get me started on melting ADCs with thorns!

Thank you Hi-rez for forcing supports out of their comfort zone this season! I have over 1000hrs logged on this game and its crazy to think that there are still new ways to play!

i used to spectate a random match before, when i was bored and tired of playing.

Today i had no friend online, so i wanted to spectate a random match, i couldn't find the button to do it. Was that feature removed?

I think it was in the "Ranked" section or the "Live" section before.

Hades adjustment

I've been playing Hades a lot this season - around 30 games with him so far at 80% win ratio

I think that he's suffered due to the penetration changes and during his ultimate he is quickly deleted late game.

As a mage that deals damage close range his escape is also is only way to initiate (unless blink which i feel is a must have on Hades) leaving him vulnerable far more than i think is fair.

Coming to adjustments for Hades here is how I think we could make him more relevant in the meta:

Mobility

  • Option 1: Death from Below - deals decent damage late game but it can catch you in horrible situations which just don't seem fair. I suggest that this works like Fenrir's Unchained. Whereby the cooldown is reduced to half if you hit an enemy god. It requires decision making but doesn't leave Hades stranded for 14 seconds

  • Or another interesting interaction we haven't seen before - cool down is halved if no gods are hit. Having the decision to sacrifice mobility to get in a fight or give the player a chance to escape from danger and get back in quicker

  • Option 2: Devour Souls - Good damage & Healing that rewards players for hitting Blighted Enemies. Give this ability a movement speed increase for each blighted enemy hit. This might bloat the ability as it already has a lot packed into it but i think it would be a fun mechanic to work with. It can be useful to speed up to a low mobility god and catch them in your ultimate.

Survivability

  • Option 1: Pillar of Agony - Give this a % mitigation for each enemy caught in the Pillar that's also afflicted by Blight. Hades whole kit revolves around blight and I love the gameplay and feel it has. % Mitigation is the only way to give Hades survivability during his ultimate so I feel this works nicely.

Please, criticise and discuss. Hades has such a unique kit that needs a little tuning to match the current meta.

If you have problems in your late game, remember the basics. With new season some things have changed a little.

Mid - preferably magical dps, can also burst the enemy carries, can be physical (Chiron, Ullr etc.), depending on the game can build percentage pen or flat pen

Jungler - assasinating the enemy mid and carry, with titan's bane change, flat pen is more beneficial for squishy targets

Solo - diving into enemy mid and carry helping out the jungler, can also peel for his own team if necessary, should mostly build tank and sustain (preferably Gaia) while relying on base damage

Adc - dps, destroys towers, kills enemy team, offensive items only

Support - supports the team by healing and buffs (Hel, Guan etc.) or peels for the carries (Ymir, Khepri etc.), builds tank very often with cdr and items which benefit his allies (Shogun's kusari, Heartward etc.)

The reason I'm writing this is that people still do stupid stuff. Your build should never be always the same, because as a player you should adapt to every situation. Almost every thing in this game can be countered.

Tanks giving you problems? Build percentage pen.

Carries are the main issue? Build flat pen.

That pesky anubis/freya is life stealing for days? Mid and solo build antiheal on top what your picks might already have in their kits.

Enemy team is healing up every fight? Antiheal again.

You can't finish game because your adc dies everyfight? Maybe stop blaming him and start peeling for him. There is usually 1-3 people targeting him. Some assasins can't do their job once they are 2s Ymir stunned or silenced by Ganesha.

You die from CC heavy teams (Ares,Da Ji, Nox etc.). Sacrifice one damage item for Magi's cloak on top of beads. Those teams mostly rely on their CC and if they are not ahead you should still win.

As a jungler you die to carries you are supposed to be killing? It is okay to sacrifice one damage item for heavy defence too!
