I basically went from having 10 preset slots, to now only having 2 for quick banking.

I had my current gear i want to use set to 1 and my in between preset (nex entry, rune switch etc) set to 2. And with this i can do all presets with my left hand automatically now it's all weird.

So just to elaborate under the old system I had my getting to nex load out in what is now ctrl-8 and my nex old out in ctrl-3 could we get the ability to drag them about to change their position ?

So before we could just choose which preset we wanted to keybind with the key 2 and 1. Now we need to press Ctrl+ 3 - 0 to load a certain preset..... I mean how can anyone think that this is convinient? Pls let us choose which preset we want to load with keybinds 1 - 2. Tyvm everything else seems great so far

NXT mod developers, mac players with AZERTY keyboards need your help desperately.

Dear NXT-mods, please look into how keyboards work with NXT.

As an AZERTY-MAC-user, I'm unable to control my action bars with this keyboard. I have a keybind on 'A', but it triggers when I press 'Q' (acts as qwerty, for bars).

Further, I am unable to type @/#, because alt+this button opens the developer console.

I'm neither able to type ^ and ¨ which is pretty annoying as ^ is a common used key to refer to what the person before you said.

It's been another couple weeks since it was addressed again, will it ever happen or will we be left behind?

Jagex patched some of the Wilderness bugs today (Patch Notes 19/02), but didn't fix the Crystal chime + opening book method. Just pointing this out, it's probably the most dangerous of all because it's the main one that the lurers on W2 are using. Please see video.

I've been doing a lot of clues lately and bladed dive with mobile is a great addition to the game for basic navigation however its usefulness is severely impeded and in some areas rendered nearly useless by the amount of selectable objects/decorations that are present, it'd be really nice to be able to drop a flag on the minimap to jump to or even use the object itself as a target.

Also another somewhat minor gripe, could we please have it so bladed dive is deselected if the keybind is pressed a second time? It makes it really awkward to use with overloaded keys (k and shift k etc.)

So I've decided to leave the OSRS community and join you all for one simple fact: the OSRS community is pretty fucking toxic.

There is so much hatred (self and otherwise), I'm just not down for that anymore. I'm sick of being told "sit retard" by some dude in his 30s who hates himself. I'm done listening to people throw racial slurs at each other and not being held accountable for it, it's like they're all 12 years old.

So here I am. Any tips?

Edit1: Thank you everyone for the great tips!! A better experience already. And just to clarify, I'm not someone who needs everything to be PC, but OSRS felt like I was browsing r/t_d.

Edit2: Wow. Thank you so much! All of the advice is wonderful and I truly feel welcome. Thank you all :) All of you who sent me your ign or clan names I will definitely add you and pop in your clan chat!

Edit3: For anyone wondering, I'm starting on a fresh P2P account and I should probably define toxicity a bit better. I think the best example of this is to compare subreddits. In general (as there is occasionally some great content), the OSRS sub is generally shitpost memes (brainlet... for like... weeks.) calling people retarded or about how much they hate themselves. And god forbid you turn chat on in game. Holy shit, it's like every alt-right asshole in existence plays. Now, I expect a LITTLE of that everywhere on the internet.. obviously it is a place of pretty general free speech, but when you have that dominating your society to the point that no one dares talk to each other, you have a problem.

But thank you all for the great tips and making me feel incredibly welcome! :)

Thanks for the update, Jagex:

  • 10+BoB presets are still better than 2 presets.
  • Gathering the skilling outfits and such into one place is still better than it not doing so.
  • Having the ability to see into the Costume Box is still better than going and checking it yourself.
