Probably the best part of the update aquatic is we don't have to do this shit anymore. (Thanks to actual fish entities)

I've gotta say that the Update Aquatic is one of the best updates that I've ever seen in this game. I really appreciate the hard work that the Mojang team is putting in while still keeping the spirit of the game alive. I still feel the same when I play as though it were 2012 all over again. Many games I also play have hurt themselves off of releasing half-baked updates and letting corporate greed take over. I'm glad to see that after all this time Minecraft has carried on its creativity and I can't wait to see what's next.

Polar bears should hunt salmon

Posted: 22 Feb 2018 03:45 PM PST

Since polar bears are completely useless right now, they should spawn in cold ocean biomes and dive into the water to hunt salmon. If would give them something to do rather than just aimlessly walking around frozen tundras.

Been playing for 4 years and this is the first 6-block-high cactus I see in game.

Suggestion: Players should drip water for a while after exiting water/being in the rain.

Since we got a nice cosmetic effect for swimming underwater, why not get a nice cosmetic effect for after you're out of the water?

This could possibly be implemented as a status effect called "Wet", where the particles the player emits would instead be dripping water particles. It would slowly count up two remaining seconds each second until it reaches 15 seconds when the player is inside a water block, and this effect would not be curable via milk.

This status effect could possibly have other applications; for example, its duration would decrease twice as fast when near fire or lava, go down by 5 seconds when hit by a flaming arrow or fireball or when damaged by being inside fire, and instantly go away when in lava, but while you have the status effect you're completely immune to being set on fire.

Endermen that attempt to attack players under this effect would take damage and teleport away similarly to that of a Thorns effect.

Small 18w08a change: You will now see surface ravines in Deserts and Mesas. You didn't before because ravine generation didn't cut through sand, sandstone or terracotta like other cave types.
