PSA: arcdps now supports full legendary swapping

Changelogs for february 24:

feb.24.2018: combat api: dst.name on agent add will be account name of player (if available).

feb.24.2018: build templates: added option to select similarly named templates if none selected.

feb.24.2018: build templates: right click on any selected template will deselect all templates.

feb.24.2018: build templates: enabled stats swap cmd on all slots (like armor, will not pre-equip).

feb.24.2018: strings: select similar name/573.

That includes now legendary weapons (obviously no sigils though), backpacks and trinkets.

EU GvG Tournament on Sunday March 4th!

Greetings!

While NA has been busy with their tournament, EU hasn't been completely out of the game, and we will be hosting another GvG tournament this coming Sunday, March 4th. You may remember the last two tournaments we did on EU, in December of 2016, and February of 2017. However this 3rd tournament is going to be a lot different than the previous ones we've ran.

We're going to do our best to get everything done in one day, and that's while we'll be aiming to start the tournament off at 5pm UK (6pm CET/12pm EST/9am PST). The tournament is also a core/draft tournament which I will explain. The core part means that we are not allowing the use of revenants or any elite specializations. The full rules can be read on the brackets/rules sheet, which can be found here.

The draft portion means that guilds are not entering the tournament, but instead individual players have signed up. We have 8 team captains, who picked from the pool of signed up players to create their teams. If you are interested in watching the draft, it was streamed live on my channel, and the VOD can be found here. Please note that some of the teams have been adjusted due to players leaving the tournament early/more people signing up late. The full list of updated teams can be found here.

The semi finals and final will be streamed through Freakshow's channel, and he will be casting the tournament alongside MightyTeapot, and Sabull. We will be trying to stream the earlier GvG's as well, but as there will be multiple going on at once, we might not catch everything.

There will be giveaways going on during the stream as well, so if you're not interested in GvG, but you want some gold, come check it out :D

Detonate Plasma Support Thief--Proof of Concept

The new stolen skills thief is able to get from raid encounters are pretty useful. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Detonate_Plasma in particular is something a few of us in RYSE have been wanting to toy with since it's been put in.

The thief alone was able to maintain most of the boons in the game including resistance. Only alacrity share isn't available on it which may be an oversight since https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Consume_Plasma has it.

Note: The comp was in an unoptimal setup (one chrono still ran boon support while the other ran a subpar dps varient when renegade dps providing alacrity would have been better for both of them) since we just wanted a proof of concept first and foremost and only did one pull on MO and two on Matt. We made plenty of personal mistakes so keep this in mind.

Only pov video available is from the dps chrono that has lots of chatter included. I'll link MO once it finishes uploading and can upload Matt if it's requested enough

Is it bad if i play the story and i read the book at the same time? (not really at the same time, you know what i mean) Is the story connected to it? Will anything be spoiled if i play? I'm a level 31 Human Necro and so far i recognize Logan and the other heroes of the book, and that the game is after the book. SO is the book worth reading before i continue playing?

What is the maximum possible HP?

i'm addicted to Vit and i've got a necro with a combination of marauders and valkyries gear and wurm runes, and i can approach 30k health with the right food and traits. Just curious how high you can get on which class/food/traits.

Is Arenanet just not going to fix Tides of Time?

The change has unanimously been panned as awful, and basically every chrono player wants it reverted back to it's original state. At this point we've heard exactly zero information from the balance team about any intent to listen to the playerbase about it.

Do you guys think it'll actually happen or are we stuck with this broken skill now?
