Lost Shores Shipwrecked settlement Posted: 10 Feb 2018 11:22 AM PST Lost shores settlement album (140) :Back Story: Word spread around the Commonwealth of an Island filled with 170 years worth of scrap and junk untouched by humans. Scavver groups scoured the wasteland in search of this island Junk Haven killing eachother for clues to finding the island. The killing and greed stopped the scavvers from finding the lost island. There was no trust between scavver groups anymore and the story of the Lost island became a myth, just an old scavver rumor that faded into obscurity. It wasn't until 30 years later two legendary ghoul explorers "Huff 'N Doback" accidentally found the island one foggy night. The ghoul step brothers were out on their exploring ship, "The Gilded Lady II" drinking with some of their "ladies of the night" looking for a place to rest up and stock up on booze and more prostitutes at Good Neighbor. While singing sea shanties the ghoul brothers didn't notice the large island in the fog and crashed into it. Two Ghoul explorers, 250 prostitutes and only 100 cases of booze left the brothers were doomed on the mysterious island. when the Fog cleared the Huff and Doback stopped sobbing and realized they had crashed into the Island Junk Haven everyone had forgotten about so long ago. The brothers quickly mobilized the prostitutes and they were able to fend off the mirelurks and set up camp in between two Giant ships. Using the radio from their crashed boat and radio equipment from the junk left on the island the explorers sent word out of the rediscovered island. The Explorers failed to realize most of the commonwealth scavvers armed to the teeth will be showing up to the island to take the claim and kill the brothers. When the scavvers came to the island they intended to kill but once they set foot on the island they were greeted with 250 prostitutes hold bottles of booze they quickly forgot about claim to the island and and hailed the 2 brothers as legendary explorers. With the isolated location and the plentiful resources a city was built on the island not long after and was named lost shores. Huff and Doback started their own brothel business in town and named it after their favorite sea shanty. To this day you can find the The Gilded Lady II that led to the step brothers discovery of the island on the roof of their brothel "Boats 'N Hoes". In honor of the ghoul brothers the city repaired one of the boats and gifted it to the brothers "The Gilded Lady III" with various upgrades like +500 prostitute capacity and a micro brewery so they can make their own booze out in the middle of the sea. With the new upgraded vessel the brothers set sail and left their island in search of new adventures. :Mods used: All DLC Clean and Simple - Settlement Startup Homemaker - Expanded Settlements Xnjguy Filled Mods All-In-One plus New Mod Creation Club Arcade Creation Club Slocum joe's [link] [comments]
Greatest companion of all time?? Posted: 10 Feb 2018 11:02 AM PST Counting the 3 Bethesda Fallout games, what is everybody's favorite companions. Do you prefer Dogmeat(s) or Rex? Codsworth or Ed-E? Charon, Raul or Hancock? Lily, Fawkes, or Strong? Favorite humans? Best backstory? Best combatant? Best personality? What's everybody's opinions? I would love to hear. [link] [comments]

Posted: 10 Feb 2018 04:04 AM PST This update features the more in-depth balance overhaul for Radium Rifle.
The Radium Rifle is a very interesting and good looking weapon. But it has a couple of major issues. One of them is a weird perk requirements. For instance, you need to have Science!3 perk in order to mount a wooden stock which doesn't make a lot of sense even from the gameplay perspective. The second one is less of an issue but more of a weird (or lazy) design choice. The dish attached to the barrel makes the barrel em... longer? Doesn't seem like this should be the case. Fallout Chevy Nova made in Gran Turismo Sport Posted: 10 Feb 2018 08:41 AM PST https://i.imgur.com/wt91XfG.png I have to wonder how it survived the bombs in this condition. Made with the car livery editor in Gran Turismo Sport. [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Feb 2018 09:42 AM PST It's annoying that I can't move the small generators or regular gun turrets from one settlement to another when I upgrade power or defenses. [link] [comments]

Tips for playing fallout 1/2 for the first time? Posted: 10 Feb 2018 08:28 AM PST So I've played fallout ever since 3 came out, which is one of my favorite games ever, and I'm obsessed with the lore. I own all of the games but have never been able to play the first two because its not my typical genre of game and the gameplay is pretty hard to grasp at first and I'm looking for help starting out so I can get through the story. [New Vegas] What is the best player home? Posted: 10 Feb 2018 10:11 AM PST I'm doing Hardcore for the first time in long time and wonder what the best place is in terms of utilities and storage. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]
What do you want Fallout 5 to have? Posted: 10 Feb 2018 04:57 AM PST What gameplay do you want it to have? Is returning the karma system a good idea? How about weapons damage and repair? The majority of the RPG functions to return? What factions do you want to see? [link] [comments]
What does the "+5" melee damage on consumables mean? Posted: 10 Feb 2018 12:08 PM PST On some consumables in Fallout 4 it has an effect described as "+5" melee damage. Obviously it's not always 5, but what does it mean? 5%? 5 flat damage added to all melee attacks? I've always wondered this [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Feb 2018 07:10 PM PST I was just thinking about possible cool locations for the next one and I wanted to share/hear from you guys. New York - Capital Wasteland/Boston feel with huge downtown area, metro, all sorts of interesting shit. Also Central Park would be amazing. There could be some sort of insane wildlife or monsters in there kind of like Oasis maybe. Hawaii - Super adventurous idea but it could be done. Tropical and bright colored feel. All sorts of vegetation and some amazing ideas for some monsters. I also thought it would be cool if the last remaining Enclave people are on the Islands, cool idea. Florida - You could have the city vibe of Miami which could be somewhat like New Vegas or the Capital Wasteland and also have a desert like feel in places like Fallout 1, 2, and NV. On top of all that, some Point Lookout type stuff with swamps and swamp people and swamp monsters. Midwest US (Texas, Colorado, etc) Somewhat like Fallout Tactics and Brotherhood of Steel area. It could have the best of both the Western deserts of the first 2 and NV, with the city locations of 3 and 4. Also, Ceaeser's Legion [link] [comments]
Anyone know any modern military uniforms/clothing? (Modded) Posted: 10 Feb 2018 12:21 PM PST I've been looking for some that are modded but no luck. Anyone know any? [link] [comments]
Best/most memorable antagonist(s)? Posted: 10 Feb 2018 04:04 PM PST I had a discussion with one of my friends, and I thought that it would be interesting to hear some extended thoughts on this. [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Feb 2018 08:15 AM PST I love the amount of choice you have in the Fallout games, but the one thing that bothers me is that there's no way to deal with most threats in a non-lethal way, at least non in a feasible and fun way. There aren't any tranquilizer guns, stun prods or anything that you'd find in a game that encourages being able to play this way, like Deus Ex. There are no perks to allow you to silently subdue enemies with a takedown or anything. While you're usually never forced into killing anything other than things that are neutral or evil, like rats, geckos or Raiders, that still won't do. If I want to play as a goddamn radroach anti-cruelty advocate, then FUCKING LET ME. So, what are your ideas on how to integrate this into a new Fallout game? Weapon ideas, perks, whatever. The Fallout series has lots of cool technology, so there are many possibilities. Perhaps some sort of high tech stun laser weapon, instantly knocking an enemy out, but with expensive and rare ammo and a long reload time? I would also like to add that I haven't played any Fallout game other than NV in years, so forgive me if they've added a way to do this in Fallout 4. [link] [comments]
Does fallout 4 allow you to unlock special quest perks? Posted: 10 Feb 2018 11:13 AM PST And forgive me if I'm remembering incorrectly but I swear 3 would let you unlock special perks as quest rewards. Just curious if that's the case with 4! [link] [comments]
Fallout 1 edits/cheats that add items to inventory? Posted: 10 Feb 2018 02:44 PM PST Playing thru the original FO for the first time, I just got to the Mutant military base. On the second floor there's a section with one yellow forcefield on either end, which I got into by using repair on one of the consoles to temporarily disable one of the forcefields. Now I'm stuck in there cos I don't have any explosives. I (stupidly) sold my radio early in the game and didn't pick one up before heading into the base. I've managed to temporarily disable the forcefields from the inside using the tool item, but only for a fraction of a second. Are there any cheats or edits that allow me to add explosives to my inventory, or am I fucked? My previous save is from a couple days ago, so I'm not too psyched about having to go back to that. There should be a way to choose the direction the institute moves after siding with them Posted: 10 Feb 2018 09:37 AM PST I'm the director of the institute, mankind's greatest post war science marvel. I was just sent to go kill ghouls at a comic store. I'd like to be able to make large, big picture decisions based on what happens in the future. Like deciding to create different versions of synths that begin creating settlements and preparing the earth for a more suitable human environment (horizon zero dawn, anyone??) Or to instead systematically wipe out the entire commonwealth, settlement by settlement. I should be able to bring an army of coursers and synths to diamond city and murder everyone for shits and giggled. I'd like to start building a rocket and launch that to mars and have synths create human habitable life there. I should be able to investigate that alien ship which crashed and reverse engineer it to find where they came from, and make contact. I am literally in charge of mankind. I want to meet with the directorate and tell them what we should do. I want to make big boy decisions now. [link] [comments] |
