| Accidentally killed the wounded dog Posted: 07 Feb 2018 06:51 AM PST I confused the wounded dog (sparky) for a random enemy so I shot and killed it before I was able to talk to it. I wanted to know if it will respawn later in the game even though I had previously killed it, so I can talk to it and heal it. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 07 Feb 2018 03:18 PM PST Wouldn't anything of value been picked clean by now? Coins, chems and bullets are everywhere. Absolutely everywhere! Things of craftable value are so abundant, that I don't understand why there's even a separate group of folks who scavenge. Any dude can walk out in one direction and return home with hundreds of pounds of stuff. Is there any reason why people simply haven't bent over to pick up money after decades of it just lying there? Is there a mod that actually creates some sort of scarcity? I don't think I've spent a single cap after hundreds of hours. [link] [comments]  |

| Need mod help with installation of a few mods. This is my first time trying to use mods. Posted: 07 Feb 2018 03:22 PM PST Some of the mods I am downloading to NMM just refuse to also install plugins. Mods I know should have plugins like lowered weapons. They install fine but never install a plugin. I know, for example lowered weapons is missing one because without it, when I load my save the mod is not in effect. I feel like I vaguely remember an npc or note describing the flesh starting to slough off over time so feel like it isn't over night. Maybe it's affected by the level of radiation? Posted: 07 Feb 2018 08:56 AM PST I recently started playing Fallout 4 again after a long string of playing modded New Vegas and this question started to bug me. Father and other members of the Institute never really give you a justifiable reason as to why they kidnap people, or what happens to them afterward. I remember hearing that a reason they did it was to see how well their 3rd generation synths interacted and how well they could blend in with society. But this still doesn't explain what happens to the actual person or why the Institute has been replacing people for decades with no purpose other than taking notes on interaction. I've logged about 750 hours into Fallout 4 and I've either forgotten that it was mentioned or it just wasn't mentioned at all. If anyone here has the answer I would be grateful for an answer. | Fallout 3 GotY DLC for Xbox One Works! Posted: 07 Feb 2018 03:04 AM PST Finally! I finally got the F3 DLC to load with my Xbox One. It is a pain, but it does work. +You must have a physical copy of F3 GotY disc 2. (1) Your Xbox One must be connected to the internet. (2) If you didn't buy the DLC in the store, delete the DLC from your hard drive(s). (3) Insert disc 2. You will see a notification for an update. Allow the update. (4) Quit the game. Leave disc 2 in the Xbox. Wait for all of the DLC to install. (5) Restart the game. As long as you use "Instant-On" in your power settings, you can turn your Xbox off with disc 2 in the drive, it will keep the DLC available. If you eject disc 2 from the DVD drive, you must repeat the above steps. If you use "Energy-Save" in your power settings, you must repeat the above steps. If your Xbox One loses power, you must repeat the above steps. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 07 Feb 2018 04:27 PM PST After a recent graphics card installation (Nvidia gt 720) and after starting up FNV after the logos my game goes to a black screen with only a broken in game hud (HP, AP, etc,) and it tells me my dlcs installed. Before this when I had the game running it would freak out graphically. Like the textures glitching and flashing colors on the screen. I had tried playing other games and they work. I believe it just to be NV. Any suggestions? [link] [comments]  |

| Advice for wastelander mod for Fallout 3 Posted: 07 Feb 2018 03:04 PM PST Started playing fallout 3 with the wastelander mod and having a freaking blast! Since it's been ages since I've done the dlcs and this mod changes the difficulty among other things, when do u think would be a good time/level to start doing the dlcs? I know broken steel has to have the main quest completed but I remember really enjoying the Pitt and Point Lookout and dunno when to start them. Due to role-play and difficulty reasons I'd rather not start them up until I'm at a good spot to do them. Any advice be much appreciated! Thanks [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 07 Feb 2018 11:48 AM PST Hello everyone, after finishing the vanilla game, I finally got my hands on some mods. I played a bit with them, experimented with others and as anybody who modded the hell out of games, knows, that the result was a broken game directory and minor hick-ups that needed a fresh install of the game. So I installed the game, MO2 and switched from my HDD to the main SSD I have in my computer. 100+ mods later I encountered major lag spikes, mostly when enemies are loaded or when I jump from one cell to another. I even got lag spikes when I looked at the wall in Starlight Drive-In. I suspect that the major problem with the current mod list is Immersive Gameplay. I searched for a solution but couldn't find anything regarding Immersive Gameplay. I tried to lower the settings, but it made no sense because I played with the higher settings fine on vanilla. Note that I don't use major graphics enhancements like FlaconOil's HD ReTexture anymore, I thought it would solve the problem but it persisted. The only thing that adds new NPC's is Tales from the Commonwealth. Maybe it has something to do with script load, but I thought that those times are gone after old Skyrim. Said that, I really need your help. I don't want to lose another character. Playing the first quests over and over again is jarring. My specs are: CPU: 6700K GPU: R9 280x 3GB RAM: Corsair Vengeance 16 GB Mainboard: Gigabyte Z170 Designare And my modlist. Thanks for the help. [link] [comments]  |
