- DEV SUGGESTION: Slow down the character speed similar to the mod in the current Dayz release (.62) and lower turning speed.

| A More Survivalistic Playstile Posted: 04 Feb 2018 07:25 AM PST Just some suggestions for those who want to play the game in a more survivalistic way. Loot will be more scarce and valued for you. I like this playstyle, and I would like to hear suggestions for it :) -Don't eat/drink damaged products, it could be toxic. -Don't wear damaged-ruined clothes, they won't protect you in the cold Chernarus nights. -Don't shoot damaged ammo, it could malfunction, hurting you as result, or destroying your gun. -Always clean your rags/bandages before using them, otherwise you could infect your wounds and get sick. -Don't use an improvised knife. They are very OP, look for a real one and keep it sharp. -Use light sources such as Chemlights, flares, flashlights, torch... Don't abuse gamma in night time. Damaged Gas Canisters are not reliable. -Don't sprint everywhere, you are not Usain Bolt -Hunt and cook your food if you have the chance [link] [comments]  | ||

| Do low-tier weapons just not spawn up north? Posted: 03 Feb 2018 12:10 PM PST I have probably around 100 hours looting (i'm a loot hoarder) in this update. I've been through Severograd and other northern-ish cities hundreds of times in the past two weeks. Have not seen any mosins, trumpets, sporters, shotguns(pump or DBL) at all throughout the north, though I've found plenty in coastal-ish towns(Staroye, Novo, etc) At Severo I've found: Win70 CR527 MP5 G19 CR75 It seems to switch. On the coast, I don't find those but I've found plenty of: Sporters Trumpets Mosins Red9's 1911s Derringers mp133(pistol grip and full size) Double barrels you get the point. So, my question is, do the low-tier guns just not spawn up north? [link] [comments]  | ||
