For anyone who would like to personally contact Pearl Abyss, regarding Kakao's lack of management of the North American and European servers, here is the companies' contact information. Please be mature and clear when contacting them. If you want them to read our responses, then make it worth their time. I am not sure if they have any employees on base for foreign based users. This probably won't have a large impact, but making a point is better than making no point.

Pearl Abyss needs to see how many people Kakao has been affecting by their poor management, and only numbers can do that.

Hello Pearl Abyss,

 

I am contacting today on behalf of representing a large portion of the North American and European player base, regarding Kakao's repulsive server management.

It has come to all of our attention (players of North America and Europe), that Kakao is not taking the necessary steps and responsibilities concerning server management of the North American and European player base. Server stability and performance has been on a continuous downwards slope since the launch of Black Desert. A significant amount of players experience persistent and several problems daily. These problems include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Delay in skill actions being performed.
  • Continuous disconnections from the server.
  • Inability to connect to the game's servers.
  • Characters freezing in place and being reloaded again into the world.
  • Characters being attacked from mobs from a great distance, regardless of running away from them. Resulting in players dying and loosing EXP.
  • Market, Inventory, and UI delayed response.
  • Extremely high latency and ping.

 

These are some of the problems which a significant amount North American and European players have encountered on a near daily basis, for several years. Kakao has shown over a repetitive amount of times that they are not capable, or are unwilling to, fix these server issues. This has been a detrimental factor for the North American and European players of the game.

Black Desert is not a free to play game in North America and Europe. We must pay an entrance fee in order to access and play the game. Many of whom payed the original $30.00 USD retail price in 2015. Yet, Kakao is still giving us management worse than that of a free to play game. Kakao's lack of management includes, but is not limited to:

 

  • Disregarding responsibility of server management, and blaming all player's ISPs.
  • No investment into upgrading or fixing the servers.
  • Cheap server provider; Leaseweb.
  • Incorrectly detailed and very delayed patch notes.
  • No knowledge of what content comes in each Patch note, until the day of.
  • Community team has no basic understanding of Black Desert's content and items.

 

Players of North America and Europe ask you, Pearl Abyss, to communicate with Kakao regarding their repulsive management of the player base. We feel incredibly offended by the service we are receiving, and have been receiving for years. There has not been any improvements on Kakao's management since the launch of the game, it has only gotten worse. Many players have suggested these improvements:

 

  • Upgrade server infrastructure.
  • Change server providers, and remove Leaseweb.
  • Kakao needs to be informed properly on when and how they receive patch notes and content from Pearl Abyss.
  • Hire different community team members, who understand Black Desert's content, and will communicate with the players properly.

 

Players have invested into the game, as Black Desert North America is not free to play. Yet, Pearl Abyss and Kakao have not invested into us. We sincerely ask for your contribution.

I want to become a Striker Raidboss

The other day I was in a node war with Prodigy(guild) when I came upon a Striker named Crusty. Tanky as you would expect a full steel body suit to be as well as a heavy damage dealer with his fiery stands golems. I want to either reach out to him or to other Strikers that believe or are really good at pvp/gvg and would appreciate some advice if not personal help from them in order to become a 1 man army.

My Character name is Marles and any help is appreciated.

As I am already making this post, if anybody is willing to sell me their Tri: Ultimate backflow gardbrace tomorrow 2/4/2018 American date order, I'd greatly appreciate it as well.

Musa 57 | Tamer 57 | Sorc 56 | Valk 56 | Witch 56 | Berserker 56 | Dk 57 | Kuno 59

Mystic 57 | Maehwa 57 | Wizard 56

Ive played each class with about 180+ AP

Kuno - The sustain was great the combos was nice, in pvp she had great flexibility but the gameplay felt stale after 59?(Yes I was using Shadow stomp cancels, Tendon and other pre awaken skills to mix up the combat)

Tamer - was fun the flow between awaken and pre awaken felt smoother than Kuno but lacked sustain and SA compared to her. Just didnt like the small aoe and having no new skills after 56 besides flying down from my pole, like why is one of the flows just to make us side step twice and make our pup taunt stuff?

Dk/Wizard/Witch - The aoe and damage was superb but the tempo was just a little too slow, maybe dk feels faster but still stationary and casting. Witch reminded me of Maehwa with positioning for skills but from afar.

Musa/Baehwa - Musa had great aoe decent sustain but not enough to not use water in desert just didnt like chugging 150+ wp pots every hour. The cone aoe and repositioning on maehwa was smooth the pvp was easy to pick up but it was very staightfoward and linear without any unique aspect about it? Like losing to a maehwa is like "okay i got caught" compared to a Tamer bursting you "holy sh-" or watching a ninja/kuno cc chain with style "okay calm down satan"

Mystic - Mobility, sustain, damage and aoe everything was their the combo's and kit was interesting but the visuals was just not appealing due to awakening looking almost the same as pre awaken but with water. The only fun factor was being tanky and supporting my team with cc.

Valk - Overall great class with sustain,burst and ani cancels. The gameplay felt unique and rewarding when you position correctly and do the combos. But it just didnt feel comfortable compared to playing kuno? I dunno why maybe due to the difficulty of the class when fighting other players?

Berserker - Its a funny class with the grabs and being a huge dude rocket jumping but the skills felt bland and generic?

Ranger/Stroker/Ninja - Ranger felt fast pace and felt like I have to always be aware since I dont have a free hp skill like mystic and kuno when I fuck up. Felt nice switching between range and melee might be a unpopular opinion but I think having a melee awaken wep is what made ranger stand out gameplay wise, if only the range skills didnt become irrelevant at higher mobs. Didnt play stroker or ninja.

TLDR: I played WoW for 12 years with many alts at max level for each expansion, so not really sure if im just burnt out from the grind or just not enjoying any class I play? Anyone else run into this problem or felt this way?

As title says, I recently decided to buy the new cash shop tent as not only can you infinite convert silver into goldbars, you also have access to all villa buffs as long as you have 1 villa pass. Anyway, I decided to take the tent for a spin on its first wagon event. Take note that the server did have some issues disabling several players from participating. Nonetheless, the tent cuts travel time by a hefty amount, not having to go to cities after looting 5 to 10 mill.
