They got so many things right. If this game were taken over by a competent set of developers, it could be the MMO of the decade. But every time a new set of patch notes come out, it's like the devs took their period red crayon and smeared it all over this masterpiece. I wish they could keep their fucking hands off of it sometimes. It's a real shame, isn't it? I know people here hate Blizzard, but I feel like if a company with amazing customer service like them took over (assuming they keep the general idea of the game the same), this game would have a lot of potential. Kakao let's face it, you don't really care. Posted: 18 Feb 2018 06:33 PM PST I've never played an MMO that the host is so out of touch with it's users that it is just literally sickening. I'd hate to add yet another rant post about the server lag, balancing, or pay to win issues that you guys seem to have over and over again. Like as an avid player that is here 8+ hours a day enjoying this game I have to say you guys are completely unacceptable as a host for such an amazing game. I can handle issues a game is having, I can understand things are GOING to go wrong. What I nor the community cannot handle, is the lack of communication you guys continue to have. I don't know whether its communications with the devs, or some other team that makes pushing out specific fixes/content that would overall improve the quality of this game that makes it difficult for you guys to just talk with us. Speak to your dam community that keeps your game running for god sakes. Tell us whats going on when it might get fixed, what we can expect. I can't fault you for things not going perfect but just communicate with us. You guys need to seriously hire some Community managers or fire the ones you currently have now because god dam does the entire community feel left in the dark. It's so terrible to make posts like these because tons of new players browse reddit for information and help only to come across posts like mine that complain about a core issue that is going on with the company. One that clearly doesn't get resolved and is doomed to probably suffer from forever given your track record. It's absolutely terrible and makes me feel like you just do not care about the community and that this is just a cash grab for you. You give us dumb shit like Kama buffs to shut us up and hope that makes us happy while just filling your pockets even more. It's just so dam terrible I wish you would just come out and say you don't care about your community and this is how things are going to be. So you stop giving your core player-base hope for a better tomorrow when there wont ever be a better tomorrow. You just kinda throw stuff at us and hope we'll shut up when in fact all you're doing is making it worse. You'd know what we'd want if you actually communicated with us at all. Please don't act like you're a company that cares about it's customers. You're not if you did you'd get us a community manager that cares to go above and beyond to keep in touch with us and pay him a fat salary. For god sakes we would pay his salary at this point if it meant not keeping us in the dark any more. TL;DR You don't care to communicate with us ever, and it's because you literally don't care to. Someone made a post about it yesterday. Multiple posts hitting the top of Reddit every day. No response from Kakao about it on the forums, twitter, or my ticket. Lack of service, communication, compensation Posted: 18 Feb 2018 04:48 PM PST Another weekend rolls by where hundreds if not thousands are affected by a Comcast - Leaseweb route leaving us unable to play the game. Good thing I bought and used Kama Blessing and Combat Book so I can watch my money go down the toilet as I watch the "Now Processing" screen for 30 minutes as my GPU is melting. Your community is in dire need of communication regarding these network issues that are beyond our control. While I understand that services are sold through these companies and not directly produced by them, SOMETHING needs to be done on the Kakao/PA side in order to address the complete and utter lack of performance we are receiving through the hosts YOU contracted for this region. I wonder how a global siege even crosses anyones mind when I can't even see the Marketplace NPC in my native region. There are MUCH BIGGER problems to face currently than to bring upon such a daunting task as unifying the regions. Please fix what is broken before more broken stuff gets added. [link] [comments] | ||

When I first started playing this game it seemed like we were getting compensated for server issues left and right. I haven't seen a compensation in a long time and the servers just seem to get worse and worse. https://community.blackdesertonline.com/index.php?threads/network-issues-na-server-updated.146298/ Now that people have kama buffs and books of combat that they've paid for, on top of value pack, we should be seeing MORE compensation, not less.
