Amid a flurry of roster shakeups, defending champs OpTic Gaming are looking for an HWC threepeat with their tried-and-true lineup. But will they be able to hold off Splyce, who are coming in hot after winning three out of four online 2K events? | Who here still plays Halo Custom Edition? Posted: 18 Feb 2018 06:44 PM PST Halo Custom Edition download link (will need your Halo PC product key to activate) I love Halo Custom Edition (I'll call it Halo CE), and it's such a shame that IGN bought out Gamespy just to shut it down, so all dedicated servers have to be user-provided. But all of the MODS! The maps, the models, the new campaigns, all because Bungie released their toolbox to forge Halo. I remember back in 2015 when I first got Halo CE, it was such a blast! There were servers like XF Custom, POQ clan servers, Ash Clan servers... the list goes on. It's really only good for campaigns and firefight now, though there are servers that still get tons of traffic for being a small population. And even hce.halomaps.org is still quite active. I think it needs a major redesign though, it looks too much like a website from 2003... Anyone still play the game? If so, message me. I really wanna start up a Discord server for it. Posted: 18 Feb 2018 06:31 PM PST I wish we would get some other warzone variants like warzone slayer (would be really chaotic and fun, like matches until 200) or Warzone CTF (like 5 flags needed for a win), warzone oddball, warzone strongholds (without AI - you gain accelerated req points basses off kills and assists). Since its one of the more popular gamemodes im surprised they havent done more warzone featured playlists. 343 make this happen, dont make these huge maps go to waste, use them. Whenever I hear a halo song, doesn't matter if it is from CE, 2, 3, ODST, or reach I know exactly where the song played and even if I was a little hazy on the location I knew which game it was in. I just tried listening to 5 playlist, I couldn't say oh this song was here in the game and it has been the most recent halo game I have played as well. I am not bashing the composers as they did a good job. I just do not get any of the memory attachment like I do with Bungie's halo soundtrack. Any of you like this as well with 4/5 or is it just me? In First Strike, they go back only a few weeks, but in ilovebees, Melissa goes back over 500 years.
