Posted: 18 Feb 2018 03:49 PM PST It'd be neat if colonists could have random tattoos. They'd show up in the colonist's health section just saying tattoo and the location (i.e face, back, right arm). If you hover over the tattoo, it could give you more information such as gang tattoo, a person's name, a portrait of someone, etc. There could even be traits like "tattoo enthusiast" so they like people with tattoos or "despises tattoos" so they dislike tattoos. It'd be a nice little thing to add to your colonists. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 18 Feb 2018 07:17 AM PST I sent 2 colonists(Tom&Lyla) to get an AI Persona Core and midway to getting back home they ran out of food, somehow the time for getting back remained 11 days(even if going there was like 2 days) and so they had to settle there. They occupied an abandoned building,Tom built some roof and put a stockpile for the things that they got(gold, components,AI Persona Core) so it won't take dmg from not being under a roof. Next they had to make food so they chop some wood, but Tom can't build a campfire for cooking(you need skill 3 on construction and Tom had skill 1 with double fire and Lyla skill 0).Tom builds a butcher table and hunt some things to let Lyla butcher them who is harvesting some berries in the meantime, they have to eat them raw because they don't have any means to cook them. The next day a raid comes,Tom kills one of them(who is left outside his house) and is injured,he builds a bed so he can be treated by Lyla with the power he has left,Lyla treats and feeds him some raw meat. The next moment an escape pod came crashing with a woman in it,she had 24 hours to leave, even if Tom was injured he couldn't let the woman die before his eyes so he puts her in the only bed they have, but she had hypothermia and they didn't have any spare cloths so they had to witness her dieing.Until this moment they both could endure all this suffering by drinking pekoe, but now even that wasn't enough and Lyla left the house and began wandering in sadness.Tom left Lyla alone and began building two graves for the dead(the raider and the woman from the escape pod),now he observed that he had an infection and it was already in a bad shape so he wants to go to tend himself, but then he sees a mad ibex going berserk towards Lyla who is not aware of her surroundings,so he is leaving the infection alone for the moment and goes to rescue her,but it's too late and he sees Lyla down,he fights the ibex with his rifle hoping at the same time that Lyla isn't dead.Luckily she is just unconscious so he drags her to the bed inside the house and treats her, then he goes outside to sleep so he won't disturb her after treating his infection. Next morning Lyla is still in bed unable to move and Tom observes that he can't move because of his infection and shortly after 2 raiders came from the same faction as the last ones(The Dog Men) and kidnap Tom leaving Lyla and the goods alone,Tom most likely dieing after the raiders left the region because of his infection beating his immune system. The house had two openings because in his time here he didn't have time to care about those holes and an injured wolf comes inside and starts attacking Lyla opening new wounds, but he dies before finishing her,Lyla dieing after a few hours not being able to walk and treat herself. And somehow even if Tom and Lyla died in the middle of nowhere the colonists from the base somehow knew that both died and got THE FU**ING DEBUFF. [link] [comments] |

Posted: 18 Feb 2018 05:03 PM PST Our colony is far from heaven's light. We serve the dark goddess Shub-Niggurath, regularly sacrificing our prisoners of war to the goat-headed mother. Azeroth, the high priestess, has a lover named Sunshine, a deceptively-named warrior princess whose primary job in the colony is to care for our holy black goats and devilstrand gardens. There had been trouble in paradise for a while, but Azeroth and Sunshine seemed to endure over the many years. A recent raid had granted us four lovely new prisoners. Two we would give the choice of joining our blood-thirsty cult or be sacrificed on the black altar. The other two would be sacrificed immediately, given that they both refused to partake in firefighting duties. The colony gathered in eager anticipation for the sacred ritual, as Azeroth solemnly carried one of the unlucky prisoners to the alter to be slaughtered. Sunshine sat in the front row, just a few feet away from where Azeroth would be making the offering. The chilling sound of a deep bell tolling filled the air, and Azeroth's blade swiftly ended the miserable prisoner's life. Just at that moment, a notification popped up. A breakup. Just as the last light of life was fading from our sacrificial offering, Azeroth and Sunshine's relationship had finally come to an end. The final straw? Discussion about practical jokes. A more random storyteller than Randy? Posted: 18 Feb 2018 07:05 PM PST Anybody know a Workshop storyteller that is more random than Randy? When you play Randy enough he's repetitive and not random in the slightest. 90% of games you will have a heat wave the first month of play usually mid-month. 95% of games, EACH YEAR, you will have a cold snap that happens within a day or three of the end of growing season. Events tend to happen IN your base (not randomly on the map), i.e. lightning storm, tornado, poison ships, etc all generally land in or near your base. On flipside game has dozens, if not hundred events (when I use editor to look) and I never see 90% of them. If you have a single event Randy likes to pile on events same time (i..e "cold snap and everybody gets malaria the next day" or "Toxic fallout next day volcanic winter next day cold snap next day poison ship"). Basically it gets old quick and Randy is suppose to be RANDOM [link] [comments] |
Posted: 18 Feb 2018 10:29 PM PST All raids are way huger in size and scale Smarter enemies (Actuall fights with strategic turrent and pawn placement and almost no kill box cheeses) <--- Not really that importand Some cool end game factions with extreme power ? [link] [comments] |

Problem with constructing Electric Crematorium Posted: 18 Feb 2018 06:01 PM PST It's telling me I need Granite blocks in order to construct this. Can't I make it with sandstone blocks or any other? If so, how? [link] [comments] |
