Kakao it's time to ditch the current providers for both NA and EU or upgrade your servers

This needs to get attention of CM's and also the heads at Kakao KR.
Something needs to be done, people in my guild of 100 members which is in the top 10 of EU doesn't play the game anymore because of constant lag and desync.
STOP BEING CHEAP AND GET GOOD PROVIDERS NOT ONES THAT ARE RATED 2 STARS
If anyone wants you can read about problems with Lease Web for the last years. It's not only related to BDO, everyone ditches them.
Get Amazon, get Google Cloud, Get Telia like any other major publisher out there that actually cares about their clients.
If this isn't a problem for you, it is for a lot of people. The routing of these server hosting solutions is absolutely abysmal. This needs to stop.
If you think nobody is complaining you can read here, and the other 50 threads in the last week on Reddit about this.

I know people will downvote me for this but I just wanted to have a somewhat serious talk about BDO's pearl shop. While I absolutely love this game, I feel like almost every single aspect of it has forced incoveniences that can be bypassed by buying from the store. I also think that over time more and more stuff has been added by PA/kakao and that maybe it's pushing it a bit too far... They may seem like little bonuses, but there's so many of them that it just adds up. Also, they're ridicously overpriced, having to spend hundreds to have the full experience. So let's just quickly run through it:

Pets – PA could have very easily added an aoe looting feature (like wow and other mmos have) but they purposely decided not to in favor of having pets in the game. Now, im not too against them because, for the most part, they're a one time purchase except if you're going for T4 pets, which is a stupidly overpriced RNG mess. T4s are, however, required for really efficent money griding.

Value pack - it gives a significant boost to money making, very handy to have.

Weight - at first, the weight limit seems like a nice immersive feature but it turns out it's just a big incoveniece for grinding, as you'll have to stop very frequently to unload loot on your mount. You can pump the weight limit to 1300+ which is pretty insane imo.

Inventory slots - im fine with these, personally! The game gives out enough of them for nice gameplay! However, if you wanna do some really profitable fishing, youre gonna need to bunch of them.

Tents - the newest addition to the shop. I think they wouldn't be so bad if they weren't so overpriced!! The "worst" thing is that you can get villa buffs without actually going to valencia. Big convience for grinding and node wars.

Artisan's Memory - Now this item is what I think really crosses the line, and they even got buffed recently!! By using these you're cutting your max durability repair cost by 4 times! That's huge... If you go by the market price of memory fragments, each of these will save you 2.250.000 silver, so if you're repairing 80 durability, you'll save 45mil silver (out of the usual 60 mil). In truth, they're actually worth more than that since the real value of mem fragments is higher that what theyre worth on the MP.

Ghillie Suit/Desert Camouflage – I don't mind these items at all, altough I do believe the game would be better off without them. What I do dislike about them is that they hide your name even in Red Battlefield. To me that makes no sense whatsoever as it's definitely an advantage and it doesn't promote balanced gameplay.

Other random stuff - like life skill costumes (processing, cooking, swimming), maids, horse training items (skill, breeding resets, etc), worker lodging, storage slots, etc... These give some good advantages, especially the processing costume. The training items just completely bypass the system's RNG (and they're basically a requirement if you're trying to get a T9 horse!)

I love this game to death, I love the world, the exploration, the combat... But I think that the pearl stuff is going a bit overboard and it kinda cheapens what feels like an already unpolished experience for me. Having been enhancing boss gear recently, knowing that Im using 4 times more memory fragments than I would use if I just paid is incredibly discouraging. It pushes me to other mmorpgs that will never pull crap like this like WoW.

After all of this, I think BDO is leaning more on the side of P2W, seeing as Money will Grant you some huge advantages. Feels like they're trying to extort as much Money as they possibly can at every turn… Also, over time, Kakao has proven to be dishonest with BDO's playerbase, especially during the time that outfits became sellable on the MP and the introduction of the value pack. I don't think people really have any respect for kakao as a company (mainly due to shitty servers as well).

Anyway I think im just rambling at this point, thanks for Reading this far! I'll def. still play BDO but maybe not as much as I did before realizing all of this. It's too much for me personally, it comes off as too greedy.

dont answer and you don't give your opponent "space to attack" (works against trolls aswell btw)

this tactic is simple and really effective. the german chanceller doing it for dozen of years.

Disconnects while in tray.

Since the maintenance before last I have had issues of disconnecting while minimized in tray while afk fishing over night. Before that I was able to stay connected consistently from maintenance to maintenance with only disconnecting on purpose. It also doesn't seem to be an issue when I am actively playing because I have yet to be disconnected when it is not in the tray. Anyone else had any issues with this?

"Friends, as you know, yesterday went unscheduled technical work, during which we, together with the developers, identified and analyzed the causes of lag in the siege.

Today we - again with the joint efforts of GameNet engineers and Pearl Abyss - will carry out one more load testing to find the best solution for the situation that has arisen. In this regard, the channels Serendia-3 and Calpheon-3 will be unavailable during the day.

We will monitor these channels and we will be able to immediately apply measures and collect the necessary statistics when suspicious factors appear that affect performance.

Both our teams (Pearl Abyss and GameNet) will do their best to eliminate the problem. We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We hope that soon you will be able to enjoy the smooth siege and, of course, the fascinating adventures in the world of Black Desert."

Meanwhile on NA: takes a week to get them to acknowledge there is a problem and blame our ISPs
