We've reached 600k! Here's a look at some stats (oh, and we added series 3 pin flairs!)

600,000 is a big number, and it only took us 9 months to do! (we reached 500k on May 10, 2017)

Congrats, and here's to many more :)

Flair Stats

Some extra goodies...

  • 2,252 - The number of flairs C9 gained over the major, between Jan 13th and Jan 31st.
  • 122 - The number of flairs FaZe gained over Jan 13th - 31st.
  • 8 - The number of flairs NIP lost over Jan 13th - 31st...talk about loyal :')

Other Subreddit Stats

Since reaching 500,000 subscribers on May 10th of last year, the subreddit has...

  • Smashed our old record of most concurrent users on the subreddit, totaling roughly 100,000 after the EL Boston finals
  • Seen more than 2.1 MILLION comments (averaging 7,500-8,000 per day!)
  • Seen roughly 140,000 thread submissions (averaging around 500 per day!)
  • Had more than 640 MILLION views, with 25.5M being unique views (averaging more than 2.3M per day!)

As of today, we have added 8 of the 11 new pins from series 3! We updated the Inferno Pin to it's latest Series 3 version a little while back, so in total, there are 9 pins from Series 3 to choose from.

Unfortunately, Aces High and Easy Peasy became too difficult to make out after being resized appropriately, so we've decided not to include them for now.

PSA: Oddshot is shutting down

Hey guys, thank you to the CSGO community especially for what you did for Oddshot. Launching the product at DreamHack Summer saw the popularity of the tool increase specifically on this subreddit before Twitch Clips existed. The levels of users we had from that allowed us to survive for so long post-clips, I am extremely thankful for this experience.

It's also awesome that if Oddshot didn't exist then it's likely that Twitch Clips in its current form today would not exist, I am glad we gave the idea of an awesome product to the number 1 streaming platform!

The servers are shutting down on Monday, so if you have any favourite CSGO Oddshots, you can save them to your PC by right clicking the player and clicking 'Save Video As'.

Seriously, thank you everyone, it's been fun!

The Summit series is such a great break for the scene and the pros during the year.

  • It gives everyone a chance to hear and give unfiltered feedback on their fellow pro players.
  • Teams with recent roster changes get a great chance to test and analyze their cohesion.
  • Existing teams get a chance to try new things and try new plays they might otherwise dismiss during a big event.
  • We get to hear casters and beloved pros in the scene join the analyst desk and give their input on competing teams.
  • Some crazy sh*t happens and timeless moments are captured.

  • Fixed a bug with the Medi-Shot that caused its ammo count and usage to be broken.

Rumor has it:

  • Other than that, all this update seems to be otherwise to be is just a local sync of last night's item schema update that mirrored the fixed P90 description and Easy Peasy Pin image. No, literally, I'm not even kidding (other than the usual steam.inf numbers change)

  • Size will likely appear as 0 bytes for most

To Anyone Who Hasn't Watched a Beyond the Summit Tournament

A Beyond the Summit tournament is a more relaxed tournament than your normal super competitive and professional event.

I keep seeing people in Twitch chat complain how the game isn't being casted. The reason is because it's not a super professional event but a more relaxed have fun type of tournament.

If it was a super serious tournament they wouldn't be playing in a house.

So please stop complaining about the game "not being casted." You're not forced to watch this event.
