Spoiler policy

>> Read the spoiler policy here. <<

TL;DR: Major locations/temples and major character names will be allowed in titles with the release of the game. Titles still must be vague and cannot divulge storylines. Boss names, dungeon weapons, plot points are not allowed in titles.

Titles must begin with [SPOILERS] when discussing the game or they will be removed.

If you think about it, Ganon is a terrifying villain in an existential sort of way.

Posted: 09 Jan 2018 02:57 AM PST

Through like 25 Zelda titles, it's always the same Ganon. Different Links, different Zeldas, different Hyrule, but this one bad guy remains.

He can't die, you can only seal him away and wait for the next guy 20 generations from now to fight him again.

And on top of that, he doesn't even lose every time! There are entire timelines where everything goes to absolute dogshit because he murders the hero who tried valiantly to defeat him.

Zelda is dark.

My sister painted this for me for Christmas last year. It’s based on a picture I found online. I think her interpretation looks better. Needless to say, I love Majora’s Mask!

BotW DLCs or Skyward Sword?

Posted: 09 Jan 2018 08:22 AM PST

I got an eShop card for 25€ and I can't really decide between the two DLCs for BotW or a digital copy of Skyward Sword. I'll be getting both at some point but for now, what's more worth it?

If you were to introduce LOZ series to someone, which order would you have them play the games in and why?

Where will the next Zelda game be located?

Posted: 09 Jan 2018 09:06 AM PST

In my opinion, our next Zelda game needs to be in another location other than Hyrule. In BOTW we were able to explore Hyrule to its fullest and have become very familiar with the land. I feel that another game set in the same location, within the same game engine/graphics style wouldn't feel as fresh or new. The exploration aspect may be missing even if the game is set an insane amount of years after BOTW.

My ideas to circumvent this are perhaps the land of Termina, or possibly Lorule. Lorule could be the setting of a game that came before the other games that visited this location. Perhaps even before Lorule destroyed their Triforce. I believe Termina would be the more interesting choice and could be an expanded form of Majora's Masks map similar to how Hyrule has been scaled up in BOTW.
