| Posted: 20 Jan 2018 07:54 AM PST So it was day 19 and I was running around in the Forrest area to get some water. Suddenly my awareness goes to hunted. NBD I think. Then I hear it. The growl, the bark, the pitter patter. Fuck. I kill the dogs and run to a Cotten plant to make a bandage since I was bleeding. I figured that was the dog horde that happens on the 5th or 6th day. I'm back at my base and I'm building a concrete cage with iron bars for night 21, and as I place the last block I'm suddenly surround by 20 dogs. No joke, 20 fucking dogs. I'm desperately trying to kill them, and since I'm on half durability they are getting close to breaking through the concrete. I manage to kill them all as the last one breaks in. I had to put the controller down and take a break. Awesome moment but terrifying as well. EDIT: Jesus Christ 10 min after I posted this my PS4 corrupted and I lost all my data. | Anyone up for a private multiplayer game? Posted: 20 Jan 2018 09:24 PM PST I have one friend that plays the game, but we are on opposite schedules. I find it pretty boring to play by myself, so I figure this is a pretty good place to solve that problem. I play from late night to early-mid morning (U.S. Central time) on PS4. I usually get in an eight hour stretch before my brain stops working. I like to play random-gen on nomad/adventurer difficulty with standard settings. I don't take the game too seriously, but I get pretty focused when working on my base. It would be awesome if we could get a full crew together! If you don't have a mic, that's cool, but It'd be even cooler if you did. If you are interested, leave a comment or send a pm. I'm ready to get started any time! [link] [comments] | ||
| Posted: 20 Jan 2018 06:31 PM PST I was playing the game on Xbox and the game started glitching which it does every now and then. It closes the game if I play long hours. It started glitching and closed the game. I open the game back up and my house was gone. Everything in it GONE. All of my food, water, health supplies, guns and ammo, tools including my lovely auger, materials (iron, cement, rock, wood), and stations (forge, craft table, cement mixer, chemistry station). All were in my house and are gone. My gardens, garage, and zombie killing pit is still there (pretty close together). I don't understand what's going on. I'm not sure what to do. I tried opening and closing the game to see if it comes back but it's not there. Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks in advance. [link] [comments] | ||

| Posted: 20 Jan 2018 04:46 PM PST Are we really limited to just 4 players on Xbox? Had there been any indication of server options for us? I have an extra Xbox used to host servers for whatever my group plays, but it appears the server must also be an active player? Does the 4 player include split screen? (Can we get a 5th or 6th player in if they join split screen on one of the 4 connected?) [link] [comments] | ||
| PC Noob players testing the theory of not being in your base on the 7th day. Posted: 20 Jan 2018 07:51 AM PST So on our Day 70 ( we should have tested this way earlier) we relocated to the carpark in Gravestown (navez) and blocked up the ramps and put down hay bales outside beside our bikes. Setup 6 campfires on the ground floor and waited. The Horde came and wrecked the car park one of our team died(stupidity) and respawned at our base, creating a 2nd smaller horde at the base so we had 2 hordes but the car park one was Wights, Ferals, Spiders etc. The base only had normal zombies. So on day 7 just relocate with minibikes and the horde is a non event :/ [link] [comments] | ||

| Electic Relays? Please help recent migrant from XB1 :) Posted: 20 Jan 2018 10:21 AM PST So after buying two PCs (one for me, one for GF) and a new TV (no more splitscreen!) to migrate from XB1 to PC...partially for electricity, partially for the new desert city, and partially because muh PC masterrace...I'm a bit stuck. Can't seem to certain electric relays to accept two wires? I have a battery bank wired to a relay (in the correct direction), then to another relay just fine, then to another. So, two of these relays have a wire in, and a wire out. BUT, when I try to connect to the next relay, the relay before that loses it's other connection. Any ideas? Thanks! [link] [comments] | ||
| What I think would make the multiplayer experience more exciting for lonewolfs Posted: 20 Jan 2018 01:53 AM PST So I have been playing on a few servers now, and what I find is the same, a bunch of people building and typing in the chat. Would it be possible to dissable the text chat system, so that the only way to comunicate with other players is to acctually talk to the person. Edit: of course I mean to be able to disable it on specific servers. [link] [comments] |
