Latest Hacker ban wave: Jan 5th-10th

Yo.

I heard about a ban wave, so I looked into the PUBG section of a modding forum I visit and I found some complaints from random idiots who got banned within the last few days.

So I figured I'd share what I found.

A lot of complaints, to be exact.

"Hey so i got banned for using Pak Files"

"Pak is detected now."

"I have an account for simple pak edits that got manual banned..I assume this since pak edits are still a thing..got games with more than 20+ kills but I enjoyed it for 700+ hours so I guess it's blueballs fault"

"As soon as i get a UD hack they add death cams!"

"There seems to have been a big ban wave yesterday/this week. 4000 accounts banned yesterday alone."

"the deathcam is a pain in this ass now, if you do anything obvious/suspicious, people just pull out their shadowplay and 'hello pubg i think this guy is hacking'"

On the other hand I found a gif for proof (url removed due to mod request) from today.

So I guess... the fight's not over yet?

EDIT: All info I have is now sent to u/robodanjal.

EDIT2: For the people who have no idea what I'm talking about... it's mainly a way to change textures ingame, but it can also be used for no recoil, instaheal and wallhack stuff. I am sure someone else can explain this better.

In the meantime: More beautiful complaints.

"i was banned. i have used no recoil and yellow players pak for 7days. i forgot that i had to delete paks when i start pubg so i crashed about 3 or 4 times"

"(25) Client Not Responding again ..... any fixes thought these paks were updated and working without disconnects"

"i banned 2 accs. now i think its detected now.."

"BANS CAN BE DELAYED!!! Maybe you are lucky. But they will get you 100%"

"I did not claim anything about pak mods being detected, there was a different thread that his method was probably detected due to many people who claimed that they got banned from using the specific method."

"Detected. Banned this morning"

"BANNED BY STEAM TODAY (...) NEVER had any error or crashes even once, not playing obvious or blatant , most kills only 13 in one game ..and guess what still banned by steam today ..."

But, and here's the thing: There are also other comments that claim they use this and aren't banned (yet). So either the ban wave is more like constant smaller waves or Bluehole relies on reports more than they should. Or both.

So, it seems the new pak files that are all the hype now are either detected... or not. Browsing through all the comments there, I am not sure.

What I know is that a lot of people that used this cheat already got banned.

EDIT3: Removed info regarding the cheat due to mod request. I accept & understand this decision. Let's hope the cheaters think they're still safe.

No joke. We needed to get into the zone, only vehicle was a mystery wagon (family bus) so we run to it, and just before getting in my teammate shoots out one front tire. I was like "WTF dude!" He yells "fasta! Fasta! Go!" And guess what?

Holy shit that van MOVED. Like over 100-105 on flat roads. Not bad handling. Thank you, random Chinese dude. Either front tire works, btw (but not both, obv.).

I have to set it back to Solo FPP every single game. I realize that it doesn't take me that long to do that after every game, but it's still really annoying.
