| [Speculation]New Diablo content involving Tyrael? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 05:01 PM PST Okay, so this is PURE speculation, but there is a sign that we might be getting some more Diablo content. Heroes of the Storm just updated, and a new Tyrael announcer was added today. https://i.imgur.com/MenZjpr.png Now, it seems a little odd that this announcer was added in last minute (it wasn't in the PTR notes) and that the Heroes of the Storm team called in the voice actor for just the announcer. Perhaps he was in the studio recording other lines, and was asked to do a few more for the Heroes team? Let the BlizzCon 2018 speculation begin... :D [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 09 Jan 2018 06:16 PM PST So I recently got into the arpg dungeon crawler type of game. I saw Torchlight 2 was recent with great reviews and jumped in, loved it. Now I'm looking for something else, and Diablo 2 seems to be universally called the best. Problem is I couldn't get into it. I can get past the resolution and graphics, but the combat and movement feels very stiff. Like when I click on an enemy it feels slow and old, not fun at all compared to Torchlights fast paced modern combat. Since I don't care about story or cutscenes, why should I play the game? What actually makes it so good compared to today's games? Obviously it was great at the time, but people still say it's the best with so many modern options. I know about Titan Quest and all those, but right now I'm focusing on Diablo. [link] [comments]  | ||
| [Diablo 2] Help modding single player rune drops Posted: 09 Jan 2018 11:17 AM PST Hello, I've gone through some of the file guides but can't seem to figure this one out. What I want is if any monster/thing drops a rune (I'd like this to include forge, countess, etc. so please assist further if that requires extra steps), the dropped rune has an equal chance of being any rune. i.e. an El rune dropping has the same probability as a zod rune dropping. Is it possible for this to apply to every difficulty? That would be ideal. Thank you. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Looking for assistance with Vyrs re-rolling Posted: 09 Jan 2018 11:03 AM PST Basically i'm trying to figure out if i should push for more cooldown reduction or if I should try and get more crit/damage etc.. anyone with some experience would be appreciated. Ive got a ramaladnis box for my weapon so curious what to reroll on weapon and whether the ring crit dmg should be cdr. also for gloves is it worth taking 8% cdr or vitality? [link] [comments]  | ||

| Possible for account to be bugged, Primals not dropping? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 12:17 PM PST I know RNG is RNG but I'm seriously starting to worry my account is bugged or something for this season. I have yet to see a single Primal drop. I have a Primal Lidless Wall on my templar that a friend gave me, but that's it. I myself, have not see one drop. To compare, at around this same time last season I played, I was at about 5-10 Primals. I'm PL 820 on the season and I did the solo GR70 somewhere in the 200's. I really don't have a record of how many legendaries have dropped from then until the 700's. It was in the 700's when I started a furnace re-roll counter. I'm at 50. So the only metric I have is that from 700-820 I've gotten at least 2,500 Forgotten Souls. Now I know some come from boss drops and every once and awhile you get x3 for one legendary. But I think it's safe to say 700-820 is at least 2,000 legendary drops. I think it's also safe to say there were probably about another 2,000 drops from ~200PL - 700PL. I think that's a reasonable estimate. In ~4,000 Legendary drops, not one has been primal. The chance of getting at least one in that amount is 99.967%. 1-((1-.002)4000) is the formula in case you're wondering Again, like I said, I understand RNG is RNG. But this? Posted: 09 Jan 2018 02:15 AM PST In the past there was a formula for stricken stacking, based on your sheet aps, so if you got 2.0 apps, u can theoretically just stack 2 stacks of stricken per second..if you miss the rhythm of it, you will stack Messe, even if you throw additional attacks in due to its icd behavior My question is about all those affixes and passives, for example the hota bracers and 15% ias on a generator and so on, do they still not affect stricken stacking? My frames are influences by it, so I can reach better breakpoints with hota, thus having more dps, but can just stack stricken as fast as my sheet attack speed is?
