The Archos Herald, Issue 22 - Change is Good Posted: 12 Jan 2018 05:02 PM PST Welcome to the 22nd issue of The Archos Herald - your source for all the latest updates on Dark and Light's development and community features! Development Updates Dark and Light had a small patch on 1/11 that addressed some of the bugs that were around Archos, and optimized a few animations for the fireplace and the Dark Wind Elemental. This patch is also helping prep for our new content patch that will be released next week, which will feature the new Airships that were teased in the past. To check out the full patch notes from this past week you can go here[dnlbbs.snail.com]. There are still some issues in game that we're working on and want to assure everyone that they're a priority. Dark Magic and Stawwork are still stuck at 100% for some people, which is hindering progress. We've been working with some of the Adventurers that are having this problem so that we can gain more knowledge about the issue. Also, the stairs around some of the Dark Alters in Archos are missing collision and players/tames are falling through them. Be careful when approaching these for now while we're working on making them solid again. Last Archos, we mentioned that the Community Team was working on some ways to better improve communication between ourselves and all of you so that everyone felt more involved in the development process. This week, we released our first change to how we're going to be interacting with the community. Our Monthly Development Roadmap[dnlbbs.snail.com] will be released around the start of each month, and will detail what to expect development and community wise. When patches are coming, events that we've planned, community streams, and more will all be featured on this roadmap, and will be updated throughout the month as more information is gathered. We hope that this is the first step in a series of steps that will better connect us with our community. Tales From Archos The ever-changing land of Archos is full of adventures and trials. Over this past week, we've continued to see and hear tales from Adventurers across the land. FunnyClown watches over their Albino Deer as it gets their first meal of the day in. Mg35t enjoys their morning ride over Archos with their trusty Pegasus companion.
