- Megaman: "Unless there will be a second stream for the Major with talent not yet released, having 9 people carry the load of a 3 week tournament is just mental. There is plenty of able bodied talent out there that should be hired to help ease the work load and bring excellent coverage"
- Counter-Strike: Global Offensive update for 1/10/18 (1/11/18 UTC, 1.36.2.0)
- ScreaM: "The first day of the photo shoot at ELEAGUE."

- Lets just appreciate the effort that Valve is putting into advertising this major. *this is their twitter profile picture.
- Oh great... I missed the smoke.
- Happy at the photo shoot
- Thorin on Twitter "French CS:GO talent doesn't want to play with Ex6TenZ so much that they'll completely waste the skills of one of the 5 best star players to ever play the game by turning him into a mediocre IGL."
- It's been 118 days since the last case came out, the longest gap since Nov 2014.
- Why we need native 1080p at the Major and why ELeague will trick you into thinking you are watching 1080p when you are actually watching upscaled 720p.
- Ricahrd Lewis will be the host for a total of 73 games at the ELEAGUE Major
- What is 'Lag'? Never heard of it.
- VP GM: "Earlier this year, NiKo’s move from mousesports to FaZe Clan was mentioned to cost half a million dollars, but by my accounts, the real number is less than half of what was originally reported."

Posted: 10 Jan 2018 09:55 AM PST It's been 118 days since the last case came out, the longest gap since Nov 2014 when the Vanguard Case came out 124 days after the ESports 2014 Summer Case. I found this really cool site where this guy maintains and tracks when stuff in CSGO are released. Kudos to him: http://p337.info/blog/csgo-case-release-order/ [link] [comments]
Posted: 10 Jan 2018 12:52 AM PST As most of you know the last Eleague Major in January 2017 was streamed in native 720p60fps and looked terrible. We asked for native 1080p60fps but Eleague said it's not possible with their TV equipment Twitch confirmed multiple times that they support 1080p60fps for Eleague. Native 720p and upscaled 720p aren't good enough for a Major in 2018 which is why Eleague claims to use native 1080p60fps in Season 4 and the upcoming Major "Alchemister5: "Last EL season was 1080 and the next Major will be as well." So lets look at the Eleague Season 4 quality: Looks bad, doesn't it? - Well obviously because they just upscale 720p to 1080p (which looks slightly better than native 720p) so they can claim they stream in 1080p. This is how REAL 1080p60fps CS:GO looks like (PGL) and the CS community shouldn't settle for less than that. [link] [comments]

Blocked people shouldn't be able to invite you Posted: 10 Jan 2018 07:17 AM PST As the title states, if you have blocked someone, both on CS:GO and on Steam, he shouldn't be able to invite you to his lobby. Just now, I blocked a player both on Steam and CS:GO, and he was able to spam me with lobby invites though the 'Recently Played With' tab. Edit: grammar [link] [comments]
