Skyrim should have had at-least one friendly Draugr. They did serve Dragon Priests long ago

Posted: 14 Dec 2017 07:06 AM PST

It would have been fun if the main quest line involved taking guidance from a Draugr who gave information on how to defeat Alduin. Since they served dragon priests, it would have made sense they had some useful information. Instead of having all the Draugrs as bad guys, there could be atleast one friendly draugr who may even end up as a follower. What do you think ?

I actually really want to know what happened to the dwemer. The entire race just vanishing without a trace really makes me think about what they might have angered in there quest for immortality. I had a theory that they might have been trapped in there own constructs, doesn’t have enough merit yet.

If you were born in Skyrim...

Posted: 14 Dec 2017 07:37 AM PST

Your answers can be reality(?)-based, or wishful thinking, just explain why.

What town would you have grown up in, and why?

What race would you be?

Who would be your heroes/villains growing up?

What guild/faction would you join/be a part of?

What would be your top three skills?

I grew up outside of Chicago, so my town would probably be Riften, that den of greed and corruption.

I'd probably be a Breton, due to my French/Irish upbringing.

For local heroes, Riften doesn't have a lot, though villains a-plenty. Maven Black Briar is probably a villain, and Brynolf for sure. I would have probably made fun of Wylandriah at the court though secretly even fascinated by her magic.

I would probably go to the College of Winterhold as a student, since I went to college after high school and working locally.

Top three skills? Alteration, Destruction and enchanting.

How about you?

Thieves Guild in a nuthshell:

Posted: 14 Dec 2017 12:27 AM PST

Their most elaborate, most grandeour heist is a usual Tuesday stroll in a dungeon in our book.

Did we seriously had to sell our soul to Nocturnal for that? The guy is not even strong and he dies even easier because he left Chillrend behind ripe for the taking by us, so all you need to do is whack him with Chillrend a couple of times and beat him to death on the ground.... he may have unlocked his mind's hidden genius by the Skeleton Key but he still didn't got any smarter it seems. This Game is Really Something Special.

Posted: 13 Dec 2017 10:39 AM PST

Only in Skyrim can you be freeing a bunch of brainwashed idiots at a giant stone monolith, then suddenly have an eldritch abomination, cultists, tiny goblins, and a gorram dragon, all come and attack at once... And it end up with you winning.

Only in Skyrim can you blast cultists with fire from your hands, while at the same time stabbing reiklings with a sword using your other hand, and forcing a dragon to stay on the ground by shouting at it, all while the group of sailors you just freed from an insane wizards brainwashing, led by your loyal companion who is sworn to carry your burdens and likes to block doors, completely wreck the eldritch abomination with nothing but a hammer and pickaxes, and then charge in to back you up against the dragon too.

Only in Skyrim, is something that absurd, idiotic, and completely awesome possible, and it's one of the reasons I absolutely love this game, and the Elder Scrolls series as a whole, this is insane world they've built, all the incredible adventures you go on in it, and all the powerful stories you make along the way, be they emotional, hilarious, or dramatic, are something truly amazing...

Would you still kill him if he looked like this? ;)

I swear there must be some hidden code that makes the vendors sell EXCLUSIVELY items that I DON'T NEED 99% of the time.

Posted: 14 Dec 2017 02:30 AM PST

Playing as a Heavy Warrior? - Vendors loaded with THE WRONG TYPE of gauntlets and jewelry that gives bonus to literally anything else multiple times(mainly magic stuff ESPECIALLY Destruction).

Playing as mage? - NO DESTRUCTION FOR YOU!!!

Playing as an archer? - NO ARCHERY FOR YOU!!! Despite the vendors were loaded with archery junk for the other characters.

The horrors.... THE HORRORS!!!

Enchanting is not an option either because it just kills the feel of progression and breaks the game in the end even on Legendary.
