(Currently experimenting to see if I can have a colony with one big bedroom full of royal beds, gold floors, and great art, to overcome the negative mood effects from having to share a bedroom.) Is there any way to mod the game so that colonists have more sex? And for some real pervocity, is there any way to mod the game so that colonists decide to have sex in the middle of the colony, like animals do? | What is this obsession with human hats? Posted: 15 Dec 2017 09:55 PM PST Aren't dusters more profitable? And human leather is a shitty fabric to make anything out of. It has 0.7 cold and heat insulation with sharp and blunt armour only above wool and cloth. Does not compensate at all for the mood debuffs. Make chairs out of it for your workbenches if anything. And hunting one muffalo herd keeps your colony fed way longer than butchering a raid. Is it just a meme or is there some benefit I'm not seeing? [link] [comments] |

Mostly because whenever I check the ETA it's always something like a 3 week trip for something 6 tiles away (Do boreal forests make travel THAT difficult?) and I can't figure how I'm meant to have that much travel food stored with them. Am I just missing something? Like, are they able to forage for more food on the way or do I just have to send them off with 200 pemmican? [link] [comments] |

| "SIGABRT while executing native code" error Posted: 15 Dec 2017 08:22 PM PST EDIT: FIXED IT. I followed a stack overflow post and gave the rimworld executable ptrace capabilities. It seems to have been something related to the raiders deciding to flee. (The game always crashed after I killed some of them) See this post: https://askubuntu.com/questions/146160/what-is-the-ptrace-scope-workaround-for-wine-programs-and-are-there-any-risks I am playing a colony with a lot of mods. For some reason, my game keeps crashing after a raid happens. Not right away, only after a couple of the raiders have been killed. I'm hoping someone can either point me in the right direction or help me fix this. | Posted: 15 Dec 2017 02:18 PM PST I have over a hundred mods, so if I don't start getting raids I'll have to start calling them on my own with a random number generator or something :( No way I can troubleshoot this. So I was hoping if the community knew generally which mods are causing this issue; I have seen other people report a lack of raids or red envelope events in B18 when they have mods installed. This also happened to me in A17 when I had 100+ mods, and I wasn't able to pin it down. Today, I might be getting trolled by Randy, but I tried on Cassandra Extreme and didn't get raided either.
