Welcome to /r/PUBATTLEGROUNDS' Sunday Dinner, where we all sit around the table and share our delicious chicken. Whether it is your very first or 100th chicken dinner, everyone is welcome! With the creation of this megathread we will now begin limiting these posts during the week, so be sure to save em up and submit any and all of them here every Sunday.

Here are the rules for this thread:

  • Videos & Images only - no gifs.
  • Videos must be no more than 5 minutes, minimally edited, and contain the victory screen at the end.
  • If you have multiple wins, please keep them all to the same post as to not overly crowd the comment section.
  • Be supportive! Everyone plays differently - chicken dinner is chicken dinner!

Really liking the influx of novice filmakers showing off their work to the usual streamer highlights

Really shows how the new replay mode has taken off and embraced and brought everyone's inner Spielberg or Nolan.

Just saying, I like it.

Hand hitboxes are tanking too much, soaking up potential head- and bodyshots.

Posted: 17 Dec 2017 08:36 AM PST

This needs to be addressed. It makes the game both unfair, irritating, and doesn't make realistic sense either.

If someone is scoping from higher ground, there is a huge possibility of you hitting his hands when aiming on his head. The bullet doesn't pass through his hands, so good aim isn't rewarded.

Though penetration wouldn't be ideal, because shooting someone through both legs for example would be op, the highest damage should be registered. So if I land a headshot, through the hands, I should get headshot damage, imo.

I know zeroing on crossbow is supposed to be a buff, but please change the scoped native zeroing back to 50 meters.

Posted: 17 Dec 2017 03:41 AM PST

Hey, I'm a guy who absolutely loves his crossbow sniping, especially in fog where it's actually been my best weapon on live servers while I've been climbing to top 150 eu. I've been doing my work with mostly either a 2x or a 4x scope on it but on the current test server, putting any scope on the crossbow locks its zeroing to 100 meters instead of the live version's 50. With the very hefty drop of the bolt with distance, this means that the crossbow automatically compensates by shooting the bolt in a high trajectory.

The result of this is that you basically have to aim at people's waist to hit them in the head at the ranges where a crossbow is at its strongest, which is between 25 and 75 meters. It's basically killed it as a go-to assassination weapon in fog with a 4x where it really shines on live.

Just please, lock the scoped zeroing back at 50 when using scopes, or let us zero down to it with the 2x and 4x. It would let us crossbow fanatics keep our favorite weapon usable post 1.0!

My friends often are more interested in feeding mercilessly for hours then winning a tactical game. But I've found myself getting top 10 basically just by looting and I want more feeding frenzies

It's looking like casino to me, find a lot of people drop and it is a rooftop extravaganza.

But what are YOU using as a lunch buffet of drop zones?
