Let's be honest...1.0 isn't complete game and it was only a push for Christmas sales

Game is still crashing on some systems

Even with newest client it says you cannot play until you have newest client

if you die in a game i says you can continue playing there even tho you are dead

first minute or two is lag fest and rubberbanding with basically no chance to influence if you die or not

people glitchning into walls after vaulting mechanic gives up

people killing themselfs during vaulting

cars getting stuck into the ground (sometimes instantly killing you) in random intervals

those are just bugs I personally experienced today

(yes I am little salty since I couldnt finish last three games in a row due to game glitching on me)

Tutorial - If you don't like the new map here is a way to only play the good old Erangel

Hey guys, i've seen many complaints about the new map Miramar so I want to share you my way how to only play our good old Erangel.

This is not the best soulution, as it basically cuts the time between joining in the old map and disconnecting out if it, but it's worth it :D You will save a lot of time instead of quitting each game with the new map!

  1. So first of all you have to get into the PUBG installation files. You can find those under your Steam folder: SteamLibrary -> steamapps -> common -> PUBG

  2. Then you have to find the files of the Desert Map: You will find those in the PUBG folder under: TslGame -> Content -> Paks

  3. So now you'll see 20 pak files. We need 4 all called desert at the end.

 - TslGame-WindowsNoEditor_desert.pak - TslGame-WindowsNoEditor_desert_grid.pak - TslGame-WindowsNoEditor_desert_heightmap.pak - TslGame-WindowsNoEditor_desert_lod.pak

You got those? Perfect! :D

  1. So now all you have to do is mark them all four, do an right click and cut them.

  2. Make a new folder called Deset (on you Desktop or in the PUBG Files) for example and paste them in. If you want you can also delete them haha :D

  3. Now start the game and you won't get into a match with the new map anymore.

You will get into matching and will see the Black Logo Screen for a few seconds but that will abort and you can search for a new lobby hopefully with the old map.

Also! This can be done the other way aswell. If you only want to play the new map -> Do the same with the Erangel files.

Hopefully this helped you.

PS. Sorry for my english as I am from Germany :)

EDIT: Seems like they turned the percentage to get on the new map to like 99% Look at Twitch: 100% of twitch streams are Miramar right now. Only xbox streamers are getting Erangel. This is not how it should be bluehole...

Erangel may be out of the rotation complete now as more and more people telling about it.

I get that miramars a new map and all but i dislike it and want to play erangel. It becomes frustrating having to keep leaving games for up to 10 minutes just to find one game of erangel. Please make it 50/50 or let us choose which map we are going to play

So listen to me i think it´s boring to die and see other ppl die in the last 3 or so circles i so much rather have a good gun fight then ppl die outside the zone. So my idea is that the last 3 or 4 circles would do the same damage as they do now but just move slower so you atleast have the ability to outrun the shrinking zone when it starts moving. What do you guys say? (my second language:)

Why has parachuting gotten such a big nerf?

Gliding is not viable at all anymore and the new parachute speeds completely eliminate deviating from the path of the plane. Why has this been nerfed, it was never a problem before, and now all players are clumped together because you can't travel any distance in the air.

The most pointless change in the new patch and has seriously taken a lot of fun out of the game for me.
