so 13:00 PST is 23:00 local time here, and I was planning on waiting to do my first spin of the day here until then to get the extra incubator, however I accidentally spun a pokestop earlier today and literally uttered "goddammit" before it had stopped spinning, but I just checked after the event "officially" started at 23:00 local time and I seem to have missed out on an incubator just because of the time zone that I am in...

As we all know we are to get a free one-time use incubator on our first spin after 1pm today and until Christmas. Granted my first spin of the day was a gym at about 12:30pm, tried a few stops after 1pm but no incubator. Was it supposed to be the first spin of the day period - basically no playing for the day until 1pm? To make me more salty about this I just dropped coins for the largest box earlier in the morning to get PAID super incubators before getting the free one of the day...

Anyone have the same experience?

Niantic, for the love of God, please can you increase the Revive drop rate.

I'm currently sitting at nearly 20 Pokemon dead with no Revives to bring them back. I've been spinning Pokestops for the last two days or so and I haven't had a single Revive out of any of them. I must have spun well over 50 stops, I even got a Metal Coat in one of them. The last raid I did I didn't get any Revives out of that either. Its incredibly irritating.

A few months ago about the time Raids started, I didn't have any potions to heal my Pokemon but was drowning in Revives - so much so I had to bin them from my inventory to make room. Now it's the reverse. I've got so many potions but no way to revive my Pokemon so I can actually use them.

You seem really keen on us spending money on passes to do all these Raids, but how do you expect us to do them if our Pokemon are dead and we have no way to revive them?

And yes, i know i can power-up a Pokemon to give it the 1hp and revive it that way but I shouldn't have to resort to that, especially in having to spend Stardust and Candy to do it.

And yes, I know I can spend coins to get Max Revives in the store, but I shouldn't have to spend 180 coins (4 days worth of Gym money) on 6 measly Max Revives to get items that have been common enough in this game for the last year and a half its been available.

And sure, maybe i'm just unlucky, but it seems a few other people are having exactly the same problem.

Sort it out.

Hi everyone! My name is Alberto, I live in the province of Mendoza in the west of Argentina. I live near (and work there) the most important children hospital of the region ("Dr. Humberto Notti" Hospital) as you may assumed there are a lot of children that spend days, weeks and even month in there without the opportunity to leave (obviosuly it depends on the pathology), but there is not a single pokéstop reachable from the hospital. I know that this is not the method to ask for it but it would be great if you can add some for the kids to play there. (sorry for my English) Regards from the south!

[Discussion ]So I know Niantic really wants to emphasize buddying up in the real world, but can we please revisit the idea of raid matchmaking? Ultra Wormholes seem like a neat in-world way to incorporate this.

With the addition of Ultra Wormholes in Gen VII of the core games, and with the Ultra Wormholes being the principle way to find and battle legendaries in US/UM, the concept could fairly easily be ported over into Go to allow players to do matchmaking for raid battles.

From a performance perspective, what's the real difference between ten people in one place having to constantly send and receive updates to Niantic's servers and ten people in ten places doing so? It's not like those ten people are all on a LAN in our current setup. You'd probably see a few more errors from people in areas with spottier reception, but honestly I'd take it.

I'd much rather be able to actually play the game than to have to opt out of features because I don't have the time to coordinate staring at my cell phone in the same place with nine other people - this way people still have to get out of the house and play the game, and players in rural areas/on adjusted schedules can participate too. Plus they could totally use this to justify seasonal events where region-exclusives spill over into other regions (like Farfetch'd) - and it could totally set the stage for some pretty awesome events/modes when or if they get to Gen VII.

Why Spheal is Important [Discussion]

Rayquaza is coming and Spheal is currently super easy to get. If you live in a place where it snows, that means weather boosted Spheals practically raining from the sky. Weather boosted means an easy couple of level 35 Walrein with good IV's and zero stardust used.

Walrein isn't the best ice type attacker but it is still pretty good and this is an easy way to round out your Rayquaza raid team for whenever it gets released. I started today with zero Spheal candy and in one hour's time out in the snow I had a 90% level 31 Walrein

Edit: If it is more likely to rain than snow where you are, then a weather boosted shelder is what you want to be looking for.
