[PTR] Feedback on patch 1.18.0.0 (Bugs) Posted: 07 Dec 2017 01:37 PM PST There are still places in certain maps where you will get stuck in the air and basically get stuck for some time. Very annoying. This bug It mostly affects heroes with a larged sized body type. Winston for example. There are more maps where this bug can happen, and there are also multiple spots in the new map 'Blizzard World' where this can happen. Examples: Spot 1 Spot 1.1 Spot 2 Spot 2.1 Oki, now the next thing. In the patch note it says they fixed some bugs regarding Doomfist. But that is not completely true. The sadness of being an overwatch player in Korea. Posted: 07 Dec 2017 04:02 AM PST Hey everyone! I just signed up and joined reddit solely to have this post written here. I heard that Blizzard cares about reddit a lot, so let me get my hopes up! The reason I wrote this post, pretty simple. You can see from the title there. Most of the people doesn't know about how the Blizzard Korea is running the stuff right now, so let me get straight to the point. The PC Bang, mostly known as Cyber Cafes to foreigners, is already a culture to most of us Koreans. So obviously Blizzard Korea took a little more care to those who plays in a CC. (which is Cyber Cafe, I'll just put it as CC cause its convenient) You see, I bought the origins edition as pre-purchase, just to support Blizzard cause I love you Blizzard! And to have fun in my house, which I can shout and laugh as much as I want to! Who would want to play with the sound of chit chat and with the sound of people shouting around and all? But wait a second-! From what I hear, If you play in a CC in Korea, you get access to OW without paying, access to origin skins, AND a 20% XP boost too! Well the boosts were common in Korea, so I wasn't too concerned about this. But the real problem begins here. Blizzard Korea started making events. Solely for CC users. If you played OW in CC for like 5 hours a day on a daily basis, you would win a chance for goods. (OW custom PC, Gaming PC, OW goodies, etc.) You see if this was only once or twice I wouldn't even care. But these events, they're having more and more of these. It came to a point where if you don't see the CC event in your Battlenet app when you start, you get surprised.(Oh there isn't any CC events? Weird.) See what does this event do bad to us? The thing is here. I am already upset that only the CC users get the rewards. But another thing that upsets me is that, if there are more of these events, the home PC users will go to CC just for the event. And if we use voice chat in game, I hear all the noises in CC through their mic. Then what was the point of me buying the OW? I could just not buy OW and get to a CC nearby, play OW AND also get the event rewards! Are you trying to tell me to not use voice chat or to tell the CC users to not use mic? Or that I should be tolerant of all these? Is it really fair? (Its literally my first time of writing any kind of these posts, so please excuse me if you had any problems understanding the post. And also my English cause I'm not really good with it. Feel free to ask any questions I'll answer as much as I can!) Some extra info! I just found out that if you want to participate in "play OW in CC and get reward" events, you are supposed to go to a CC that is tied with Blizzard Korea. Which makes you pay around 1 extra US dollar per hour if you play in that CC. So basically, if you want to participate in the event even though you had already bought the OW account, you're supposed to FIND the specific CC (which might not even be in your area of living), and pay extra 1 more dollar like everyone else, AND play OW there. submitted by /u/Lea72 [link] [comments]

Blizzard, please give us a spoiler-free way to view VODs for OWL. Posted: 07 Dec 2017 05:17 AM PST https://overwatchleague.com/en-us/video Right now, I see the number of games played for each series (since they show 4 or 5 games) - which spoils games. Team A won the first two games, but I can see 5 VODs? Now I know the next two must have been won by Team B. Some way to view them spoiler-free would be awesome. Ideally something that works globally on overwatchleague.com, so it would also hide news etc. Either a subdomain (i.e. nospoiler.overwatchleague.com), or a flag in a settings profile.
