Randomly exploded and died outside a city, can a 7DTD veteran tell me what happened? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 11:23 PM PST Relatively new to the game. On pc, Navezgane, was juuuuust outside of one of the signs to Gravestown (I want to say the north end of the city) being pursued by vultures and had just stumbled upon a zed bear. As I was backing up, BOOM. Oh fuck, mines? I guess? I was down to 5 health (from 70) and took off, then boom again. Dead. When my friend and I returned for my stuff, we couldn't find a single mine. How do you add server admins to a steam hosted multiplayer game? Posted: 06 Dec 2017 12:32 AM PST Hey all, just as the title says. I have a game that I run off of steam when I feel like playing, and my friends can find it when I'm in-game through the server browser. The issue is when I try to add a steam friend as a server admin, like to use console commands and spawn stuff themselves. I've found the serveradmin text file on my pc and I've managed to add the correct steam ID, however my friend is still not able to use any commands. Their permission is right under mine in the serveradmin file, only difference is the steam id. Can anyone provide a detailed process on how to do this? How bad are corpses? Posted: 05 Dec 2017 08:36 PM PST How bad is it to leave corpses around? I am having an issue with screamer hordes and it is the only thing I can think of. Usually I clean up my bodies but I was in the middle of moving stuff into new storage boxes. I have probably 20 corpses laying around my defenses. Over the course of the last 3 days I must be averaging maybe 4 or 5 screamers a day. I don't understand. It is like nonstop. I am not doing anything different. Is it the corpses? Do they attract screamers to this extent? Edit: had 2 more since I posted this. One even killed me since it happened while I was destroying corpses and somehow 3 witches came and I was surrounded since I intended to fight. My first death in like 20 days. Profile Edit Resulted in No Player Exp Gain Posted: 05 Dec 2017 11:19 AM PST I've come across a small problem, in that I can't gain player experience in my singleplayer game. Skill experience is fine, I can level up even Athletics well enough. This arose because I'd experienced a player kill, not death. My game crashed, and I came back to a fresh character. Level 1, no skills, starting inventory. My world was unchanged. In a panic, I'd found a profile editor, which I assume is just a value editor and nothing more. I'd used it to restore my character to the best of my memory. I'd love to have this issue fixed without a character wipe, as I'm coming up on my eighth blood moon, and I wouldn't want to artificially add in my levels and skill points as I deem fit. Crop Harvest Lag Posted: 05 Dec 2017 01:31 AM PST Hey guys. Is anyone else having an issue with lag while farming? It started with my recent crop harvest (I recently started a farm and have been rapidly expanding by doubling each time and putting all my seeds back into it). If it matters, I have maybe 300 corn (I don't know the actual numbers I'm just thinking in my head), 200 blueberries, potatoes, aloe, goldenrod. When I try to pick a Crop, the game freezes for a second. It makes it impossible to rapidly harvest and is ruining it for me.
