| Halo 6 must be a direct improvement. Posted: 07 Dec 2017 08:47 AM PST I'm not quite sure how 343 managed to eek away with it for H5's launch (probably with less players), but if Halo 6 does not have all the content we are used to at Halo 5's final stages, it is going to be in serious trouble. It doesn't matter at what point in development Halo 5 entered its true end state. We as players are accustomed to having all these options and playlists at our fingertips. Halo 6 cannot start with less and work its way back up, because we are expecting a sequel to be an improvement not over its predecessor at launch, but its predecessor in general. I only bring this up because of the 3 month explosion I've seen Destiny 2 sustain from its community at large. Destiny can survive this because of Activision money, triple platforms, and its MMO-ish design. If Halo undergoes the same thing, the repercussions will likely be much worse. TL;DR: Whatever you think of Halo 5, Halo 6 must have at least as much content as H5 does at this state of its lifetime. [link] [comments]  | ||

| [Halo Reach] Nitpicky question about Jorge's death Posted: 07 Dec 2017 01:01 PM PST Jorge sacrifices himself in order to activate the bomb to destory the Long Night of Solace. But why didn't he just let one of the Marines activate the bomb instead of him? Marines are not scripted to die at the end of the mission, so technically they are there with Jorge when the bomb detonates. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 07 Dec 2017 03:25 PM PST I don't really buy the "we can have both" argument (although it would be awesome) cause of course some features get priority while developing the game which is what clearly happened with Warzone over BTB in H5 . It would be extremely disappointing if h6 suffered the same consequence. Get on MCC and play btb and tell me it's not much better than Warzone. I hope that H6 BTB isn't a 30 frames lag fest where we play forge maps which are clearly not that good compared to older BTB maps.. :( [link] [comments]  | ||

I have been reaserching Halo since summer, and the hour is neer in which i will ask mom for my first M-rated game, which will be halo, anything better than COD, shivers. Thoughout all my extensive reaserch i have gotten many different responses, even though by now i have concluded that whatever content there is, it is very very mild. | Posted: 07 Dec 2017 09:15 AM PST TL;DR - Humanity's greatest military victory happened by accident, and likely without Humanity knowing it. UNSC made a huge-ass nuclear bomb designed to crack a fucking planet, with the intention of finding the Covenant homeworld/High Charity, using a stealth ship to drop it off and rip the Covenant a new asshole. Covenant find it during an attack on a USNC planet, take it, don't know what it is. Send it off for study, Engineer accidentally fixes it and sets it off. Blows up, taking an entire Covenant fleet down to the last ship, cracking nearby planetoids and destroying the space station. I wonder if that ever came up post war?
