i understand the point of it when viewing an official game, on stream. but while you play? come on.. its not only pointless , it also shows you glitching choppy framerate of ugly models (depending on quality)
why not keep it optional?
its just something that lowers the quality of the experience for me

Wishlist for TI8

I know this is a long shot but I think I have a pretty good idea of what the community wants.

In no particular order:

Immortal Gardens TI8 Edition: This terrain is not as flashy as Reef's Edge or MK's terrain but it's pretty, very clean and makes it easy to follow the action.
MVP award. Maybe not a Mercedes but I'm sure we can afford something just as nice.
Machine in charge of post-game interviews. Alex is great at everything but this is what he does best imo, in the past we've had some terrible loser interviews where we could clearly see the players just wanted to gtfo.
All-Random Deathmatch All-Stars: This year's all-stars match was a downgrade from 10vs10. The prize money is a good incentive to prevent players just not caring at all, but excessive tryharding by a few players (like Ramzes on Medusa) kinda ruined it. ARDM would fix this problem.
Let us make Battle Predictions and vote for MVP without being in-game. Maybe with the Steam phone app or some twitch integration, idk. Currently it's impossible to complete the related achievements if you have to go to work or school.
LAN playoffs for Qualifiers. This has been requested by players for a long time, it would even the field for the smaller teams against big orgs and prevent shitty internet problems in such a high-stakes event. Maybe a bit of prize money for runner-ups would be nice too.
Rotate casters more often. I still feel like Luminous casted 70% of TI7 and while I don't particularly dislike him it still got tiring, especially when casters like Capitalist were so underused.
Address the Dakota, Nahaz and Pimpmuckl situation. I don't know how this can be done, but reddit always gets really upset about their favorite talent being snubbed. Maybe create a Dota Talent Pro Circuit?
