Make sure you pick up the 1 loyalty expansion before the 20th. GPU usage lowered after minimising/maximising game. Posted: 06 Dec 2017 04:43 AM PST So I have this super annoying problem that the gpu usage cuts in half or more when going back to the BDO screen after visiting another program etc. Now I don't think its a vSync issue because the FPS doesn't cut back down to 30 or 60 its just a lot lower. So I have a 144hz monitor with gsync on and vsync is set to on in Nvidia panel. I start the game and all is fine, depending on location fps is anywhere from 30-105ish and I have it set to fullscreen window because i'm always minimising out to do other stuff. But when returning to BDO its really laggy and GPU on about 20-40%. Strangely opening the map and closing it can sometimes fix the problem andsometimes it doesn't.....FPS is also capped at 141 in RTS for games that might go above my 144 refresh rate and therefore enabling vSync which I don't want obvisouly. If the map fix doesn't work I just have to wait and it miraculously fixes itself after a minute or so. Or i can go to fullscreen and back to windowed fullscreen and that also fixes it.
