Posted: 16 Nov 2017 03:50 AM PST I've been queuing NA and JP/KR Squad matches pretty much all day today and I would say in about 95% of my matches I have either Chinese or Korean speakers on my team. I'm from the US, speaking English and some Japanese, but right now I'm living in Japan so I do understand getting some Korean speakers on the JP/KR servers... but I've actually never played with a Japanese person in over 200 hours of play. And I've been matched with an actual fluent English speaker maybe 10 times in around 100 hours of logged playtime on the NA servers....... This may seem like a localisation problem on my end but I've been seeing more and more posts recently of NA players getting matched with Chinese queuing into the NA server from China, etc... I feel like a Language Preference selector that let you set one or two preferred languages would nearly eliminate this problem.... as I assume the vast majority of the player-base would want to play with people who speak a language they understand.
