Who wants to win a Switch bundle for $5 and help out a family in need?

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 09:09 AM PDT

SO a bit of backstory first,

I have Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and it has been financially DEVASTATING to my family. This shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone but in my case, literally everything that could have gone wrong, did.

After seven surgeries, enough medication to kill the population of Botswana and more inter family strife than you shake the master sword at, here I am. Still sick, still living off $45 a week and doing it all with a smile. Because I refuse to let anything stand in the way of me letting my Daughter know how important she is to me.

Anyway, lets move onto why you clicked on this in the first place. over the past year we have had insane amounts of things donated to us to raffle off and hold giveaways for to bring attention to our campaign and right now we have five Nintendo switch bundles to raffle off, three of which come with Breath of the wild. one bundle will come with a 4K television thanks to our friends at the local Wal-mart

Each entry is $5 and you can gain more entries every $5. So $30 would be 6 entries. This raffle is rather large so this time the winner will be chosen at the end of the month rather than two weeks from now. This is happeneing here thank to the ever lovely /u/WoozleWuzzle

Thank you all for taking the time to look at this and I wish everyone luck.

Is there an offline interactive map?

Posted: 04 Aug 2017 10:15 AM PDT

I'm going to be on a loooooong flight to Scotland and don't like playing without a map, but one that shows item locations etc. Is there a way to save the https://www.zeldadungeon.net/breath-of-the-wild-interactive-map/ similar to how you can save maps offline on Google, or such as?

New game idea?

What if Nintendo remade majoras mask but in a massive open world like botw, of course make the 3 days longer as well and add more masks, side quest, and optional mini dungeons. Or they could remake the map of oot hyrule or termina and make a new story like albw.

[OC] [OoT] Today I drew my favorite version of Link!

BOTW has spoiled me.

I've been playing Breath of the Wild since it came out and obviously I am in love with it. Today I decided to revisit another one of Link's adventures, Twilight Princess. It took me an hour to adjust to the controls, I kept trying to jump and run and climb up things and was sad when it didn't happen. I love Zelda but man oh man is it hard to revisit some of Link's older adventures when you're obsessed with Breath of the Wild 😅

So let me get this straight, Link goes out, risks his life to save Hyrule and its inhabitants, but is not allowed to have one Noble Pursuit cocktail? Why am I having flashbacks of my Military days?

I say if you defeat the the evil that has plagued Hyrule for 100 years, you should be allowed a drink (and a bowl) for your troubles.

With Botw featuring such a marvelous and huge world combined with deep mechanics and gameplay, I feel like Nintendo won't be able to give it an equally awesome sequel

Am I the only one? I am a long time zelda fan (played every game except Triforce Heroes and Four Swords). I absolutely loved Botw but while I was playing it I kept thinking what could Nintendo possibly do next to impress us all. I feel like the next link adventure won't be "enough".

I kinda felt the same with Zelda I, and The Adventure of Link confirmed my concerns :/

What do you think? Do you think Nintendo will be able to give it a proper and awesome sequel?

One thing I wish BOTW did with other amiibos...

Posted: 03 Aug 2017 11:10 PM PDT

Grab weapons from the repective games that the amiibo belongs to. Scan an Ike amiibo? Holy Balls, you just got Ragnell! Fox? You got the reflector! Shovel Knight? Here is the Shovel Blade! Samus? Arm Cannon for a bow. Would this be a good feature for the game to have?
