This is something I see come up constantly in every topic about either DoomFist or Roadhog

Blizzard no longer wants one-shots in the game, then added a hero that's focused on one-shots.

That is simply not true at all. Blizzard never said that they no longer wanted one-shots in the game, just that they (specifically Jeff) said that they didn't like it on Roadhog

While I believe moving Roadhog away from a 1 shot combo was a necessary thing we had to do, I'm not entirely satisfied with where he's at right now.

No other one-shots were mentioned, only Roadhog's, and it makes sense if you think about it.

Roadhog's one-shot was much easier and safer to land when compared to other one-shots. Doomfist, for example, risks putting himself in the middle of the enemy team if he misses his punch, and, even if he does hit someone, his target has to hit a wall, which makes it very situational. On top of that, he has to charge up his punch to do the maximum damage. It's also very loud, so it's easy to hear him coming and dodge him.

Reinhardt's one-shot is very similar to Doomfist in a lot of ways. He also needs to hit a wall in order to one-shot someone, and, if he misses, or if he charges into the enemy team, he's likely going to die.

Then there's Lucio's, Pharah's, and Orisa's one-shots, all of which, requires an ledge for them to boop/pull their target off. Again, very situational because it doesn't just work anywhere.

Then there's Hanzo and Widowmaker. While they're safer then anyone else that can one-shot, they require skill and aiming to do so (say what you want about scatter arrows, but, believe it or not, that still requires some kind of aiming(or luck), as Hanzo can't just aim it directly at you and they kill you).

Meanwhile, Roadhog's one-shot was nothing like any of those. There's not as much risk in his hook compared to Doomfist's punch or Reinhardt's charge because he doesn't come to you, he pulls you to him and away from your team. More often then not, he could hook, kill, and get away before your team mates could get to him, or, if he was with his team and missed his one-shot, his team could still finish the job for him, again, without any risk. He also has 600HP and a self heal that gave him half of that health back, which makes him even safer than Doomfist, who's only at 250HP. His hook is also easier to hit because, unlike Hanzo and Widowmaker, who have to hit the head, Roadhog can hit anywhere and hook someone in.

Healers should be able to have an "I'm dead" voice line

Just a thought. I was playing a warm up game and the genji and McCree that kept running off were spamming for healing while I was getting pulverized on the objective with the tank.

This is not sarcastic. I know it's not a popular opinion to have right now, but take a minute to think about it.
Yes, his punch can be an OHK, and the hitbox needs to be fixed, but OHKs are not rare in this game. Rein charge, Widow headshot, Hanzo scatter arrow or headshot, etc. Don't even talk about Roadhog, he was never an OHK hero, he was a two-hit-kill hero, and it was a no-skill combo anyway. The fact that Roadhog was ruined doesn't mean Doomfist is OP.
Doomfist is highly mobile. So is Genji. And Tracer. And Sombra. And Lucio. And Pharah. And (kind of) D.Va. The difference is that each of those heroes, besides DF, has more offensive consistency. DF is so reliant on his CDs for doing real damage. Sure, his hand-cannon can do a little more dam than Ana's shots, but the low clip size and slow reload make it more of a finisher or last resort weapon.
Now, let's talk about his punch. This is the point from which the most salt flows. Obviously, the hitbox needs to be fixed, but the punch really is otherwise balanced. It's super easy to counter if you have some situational awareness. DF is a sitting duck while charging, and he's going to come right at you in a straight line. As long as you have even moderately decent aim, you'll kill him before the punch lands with any hero you can name.
Frankly, I think a lot of the hate comes from the fact that people just don't know how to counter him yet, and would rather say he's a BS OP hero than admit they just aren't perfect players. I play Doomfist a lot, he's already in my top 10 most played. He is a very strong 1v1 character, but still not OP. If you think about it, if he was actually OP, you should be seeing DF getting cards for elims and/or dam all the time, but that doesn't happen, because his damage capacity is balanced by a fairly high skill-cap. Sure, a no-skill DF can go around trying to surprise wall-punch, but that DF is going to drag the team down while creating the inordinate amount of salt seen in this subreddit.

Like joking punishments for teammates who spam I need healing and what not, ignoring a really easy solution.

When someone asks for healing while the healer is dead, just have the healer's respawn timer pop up in the corner of the screen. Problem solved.

Changes to the Golden Weapons

Considering the recent amount of people suggesting changes for what should become golden when you buy a character's golden weapon, I thought I'd make a list of what should change.

Tracer:

  • The Pulse Bomb (barely noticeable)

Soldier 76:

  • Healing Pod/Station

Sombra:

Bastion:

  • His self-repair hand
  • His tank nozzle/hole (maybe, idk)

Junkrat:

  • The bombs themselves

Mei:

  • Snowball (her ult)

Torb:

Orisa:

  • Her bongo drum

Sym:

  • Her Turrets

Additionally, the golden guns change depending on the skin you use, and sometimes the amount of gold on the gun changes as presented by Lucio's golden Slapshot gun and his golden Selecao gun. I'll leave that up to the commenters to decide what golden guns should be fixed when it comes to changing skins.
