Esea europe: the worse 8$ i have ever spent... Posted: 03 Aug 2017 12:48 PM PDT I have played 10 games and ALL 10 was 9 turks(i don't have any problem with turkish people but its not fun to play a game alone while others speak unknown language. You have to play with voice_muteall 1, when you ask them to please speak english they will say FUCK ENGLISH or ok bro and continue to speak turkish. this is the answer i got from esea support when i asked if there is any option to block turkey: It is not possible to block certain servers and you are at the mercy of the matchmaking system. Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds of non-duplicate payments. Thank you for using the ESEA support system. Edit: i play from Greece, you can post your countries and if you have the same problem so we can see what happens here Another edit:...Please don't get me wrong! This is not about race! its just about no communication because i don't understand the language please stop being racist(some of you) [link] [comments]

For the love of god buy a mic if you're playing MM Posted: 03 Aug 2017 01:42 PM PDT ESEA people usually have mics (I've almost never run into anyone on ESEA without a mic). This makes sense coz if you are spending $7 pm on ESEA, you can spend a decent amount of money to buy a good headset. MM on the other hand... the number of times I've joined an MM game and there's at lease two players without mics is insanely high. Many times, it's just me giving callouts on enemies/flashes spotted or where I died. I run into an area I think is cleared out by my teammate (because he was there 15 seconds ago) but get killed because he stopped watching it. Of course they never announce that they left said area. Please buy a mic. This is the one I use: Zalman Zm-Mic1 (http://a.co/ejtUYgJ) It is really cheap and very high quality. I've never had complaints on the way I sound. There really is no excuse to not buy this mic because its less than half the cost of the game itself. This post may be in vain though coz I feel like I might be preaching to the choir here but please remember GET. A. MIC. If any of you have suggestions on better mics/headsets that don't break the bank, please let us know. TY [link] [comments]
In Depth Analysis of August 2, 2017 PRERELEASE Weapon Changes (Tec-9 Rebalance) Posted: 02 Aug 2017 09:31 PM PDT Tec-9Official Patch Note Description
Raw Data AnalysisAmmo AmountAs stated in the patch notes, magazine size has been reduced from 24 to 18. Reserve ammo has been reduced from 120 to 90. First Shot Inaccuracy
(Standing Inaccuracy = InaccuracyStand + Spread) (Crouching Inaccuracy = InaccuracyCrouch + Spread) (Moving Inaccuracy = InaccuracyStand + Spread + InaccuracyMove) Fun Fact!: The Tec-9 is more accurate than an AK-47 when standing. 6.90 vs 7.01 Fun Fact!: The Tec-9 when moving is just slightly more inaccurate than a Famas's first shot (when in automatic mode) when standing still. 10.71 vs 10.45 Firing Inaccuracy0.15 Seconds Between Each Shot 0.25 Seconds Between Each Shot 0.35 Seconds Between Each Shot 0.45 Seconds Between Each Shot 0.55 Seconds Between Each Shot 0.65 Seconds Between Each Shot Note: These graphs only take inaccuracy into account, any recoil (the upwards kick from firing) is not included. Note: The first two graphs are in a different scale than the rest so the data would fit. My ThoughtsI'm really glad that Valve is taking their first steps to revamp the pistols, but I think they are going about these changes in the wrong way. CSGO pistols have always had issues with their accuracy models. It's very difficult to spam only a few bullets or tap rapidly because the inaccuracy ramps up so quickly. Because pistols are so unreliable, higher damage made sense to balance it out, though it also introduced one hit kills at close range which many people have expressed their distaste in. This lead to the pistols (especially the high powered eco pistols) being seen as overly random. Players would spam their guns regardless of how inaccurate it made them as the benefit of the pistols high damage often outweighed the chance that they would miss. Judging by the patch notes, Valve wants to "emphasize skillful use of the pistols, beginning with the Tec-9." and the way they are going about it is to encourage more skillfully aimed first shots and careful trigger discipline so players will fire when they are accurate. While it's true that single shots with the Tec-9 will be rewarded more with these changes, increasing firing inaccuracy like they've done is just going to make for a messier experience. Players are still going to fire quickly and pray to RNGesus hoping for the best. Assuming that a player is outside of the one hit kill range of the Tec-9, they'll still want to fire quickly after a headshot in hopes that they finish the other player off rather than wait and possibly be killed. Also, with the increase in first shot accuracy resulting in better moving accuracy as well, these changes are just going to promote players who blaze around corners hoping for a headshot even more. I'm surprised Valve didn't think the Tec-9's running accuracy was one of the major points of the gun that needed to be adjusted. Ultimately, what Valve SHOULD be trying to do to the pistols is to promote a variety of firing styles (fast tapping, spamming only a few bullets, etc). Using the 1.6 USP as an example, quick tapping and spamming were accurate for the first few bullets with inaccuracy ramping up much slower than CSGO. Abusing extended spamming would result in the USP becoming unreliable, but assuming the player could actually aim their first couple of bullets, it was well rewarded. Even on ecos, you could use the USP to double tap a helmeted player in the head assuming you could perfectly aim those two quickly fired bullets at close range. This is what's most missing with CSGO pistols, a lack of options. Damage would have to be reduced for how much more reliable the pistols would become with these changes. This is NOT an easy rework that can be accomplished with a few tweaks to first shot accuracy and firing inaccuracy. This is a rework that is going to require a lot of thought and playtesting and I urge Valve to spend some more time examining this before shipping the prerelease tec-9 changes and making similar changes to the other pistols. Well, Then How Would You Adjust the Pistols? This is something that I want to get right, so hopefully throughout the week I'll continue to post more aspects regarding this rework. It's obvious that Valve wants feedback regarding these pistol changes or they wouldn't have put them in the beta depot. I'd like to share my rework for the P250 in Classic Offensive (known as the P228) that I've been quietly working on since I was brought on the team to work on the Steam release version. It's not exactly the Tec-9 but it fills a similar role and it's what I have available to me at the moment of writing this. P228/P250 Max Spamming Speed Inaccuracy P228/P250 0.35 Second Tapping Inaccuracy Note: In the interest of getting this post out at a decent time I'll just stick to just these graph. I had the max spamming inaccuracy graph previously completed so it already contained info for 1.6 and CSS. In short, it accomplishes what I stated above. Players can spam but only for a short period of time before the inaccuracy worsens, tapping is much more reliable, but damage is reduced to compensate for the reliably. Of course I'm over simplifying things and it's impossible to convey the full details of a rework in a few graphs. I'll expand on this in another post later this week. I'll just say in order to get inaccuracy to function like this it requires heavy use of the "recovery time final" and "recovery time transition start and end bullet" which Valve is currently only using for the M4, AK, and Negev (though the Negev it's being used in a very strange way). If the CSGO team wants to communicate with me regarding the pistol rework or any other balance related topic, I'll be happy to help. [link] [comments]
Posted: 03 Aug 2017 02:04 AM PDT Title, I really liked the map and I would love to see it in this operation, cause lets be honest the operation maps are shit Edit: I see some people like santorini and some dont but I guess we can all agree that Volvo should add older fan favorite maps to the reserves map pool, which could be down with eze since all maps are already in the game. They would only have to be linked to the game. Sorry for bad London Edit: I guess it was a bit too harsh to say that all maps are shit, bit imo they get boring pretty fast and rotating maps in the reserves map pool like many of you guys suggest would be a perfect solution for this. CS:GO CT hitbox / hitreg problem Posted: 02 Aug 2017 11:40 PM PDT First of all I wanna apologize for the horrible layout and any possible grammar issues, English isn't really my first langauge. And I'm also not really good at these long posts things. But that aside... I made this post after an issue I've been running into, I've googled it but the only things that showed up where from 2016 or prior. I've been playing CS:GO for over 2 years now, clocking in at over 1100 hours. I quit a few times just to come back a few months later, and I recently did the same thing. After quiting for 6 months I decided start playing the game again, and get back to Global Elite. But whilst playing a noticed a odd problem. And let's get something straight first, I'm a man to admit my mistakes. If I miss, I miss. It's as simple as that. But recently I've been "missing" shots that seemed like they were hits, to the point where even my team spectating me couldn't figure out how they didn't connect. I didn't think too much of it, I guessed it was me just playing bad. But then I started noticing a trend. All these shots were me playing as T, against CT. So to test something out I went on offline bot match, had the bots stand still and just fired at them with an AWP. And soon enough a was baffled. Loads of times, when firing upon a CT the shot would not connect. There would be a bullet hole exactly behind them where I shot, but the shot would not register. After this I decided to go on a different map, and keep record of how many times this would happen. Here are my findings. AK, aiming at head, Terrorist. Shots: 100 | Hit: 98 AK, aiming at torso, Terrorist. Shots: 100 | Hit: 100 AK, aiming at head, Counter-terrorist. Shots: 100 | Hit: 78 AK, aiming at torso, Counter-terrorist. Shots: 100 | Hit: 86 After this I already noticed that something was wrong, but I was using the AK. And the AK isn't alway 100% accurate. So I decided to do the same thing again, but this time with an AWP Here are those findings AWP, aiming at head, Terrorist. Shots: 100 | Hit: 100 AWP, aiming at torso, Terrorist. Shots: 100 | Hit: 100 AWP, aiming at head, Counter-terrorist. Shots: 100 | Hit: 81 AWP, aiming at torso, Counter-terrorist. Shots: 100 | Hit: 73 One thing I also did with the AWP is: After I shot, and the bot didn't die. I'd step aside and see if there is an bullet hole behind them. And everytime it happened there was a bullet hole behind them. So what I noticed is that the AWP preformed worse than the AK at body shot, I'm uncertain why though. I'm in no way an expert at CS:GO, I don't know the innerworkings of the game. I just wanted to share this information with you guys, and see what you guys think about it. Maybe some of you have noticed it aswell, or maybe it's just me. But yeah that's basically it. Sorry for the long post, but hopefully it's helpfull in some way. [link] [comments] |
