Vashj'ir appreciation thread. Here's to hoping the new expansion brings a big underwater zone with deep trenches, colourful coral reefs, bizarre marine life, monstrosities on the seabed and strange mysteries beneath the waves.

I know Vashj'ir is a controversial zone due to the way it is navigated, but for me it was always an amazing place. I love everything about it, from the music to the setting, the storyline, its colour palette, and that cool progression you make. You really do take a plunge into the ocean and the further down you go, the deeper the plot thickens. Love it!

Anyone else noticed that in the Avatar room, there is only one face without Fel glowing eyes. Does that mean all titans are corrupted (plan of Sargeras or something) except Azeroth? Is that her face?

Guild Halls have been a feature that people have been asking for pretty much since vanilla. It's one of the few majorly requested features that has not yet been implemented.

The problem, and the same reason that garrisons were their answer to the desire for player housing, is that there just isn't enough space in the world for every guild to have their own space without it being instanced, and all in the same place.

The solution?

GUILD PIRATE SHIPS

You would get a special hearthstone that returns you to your guild's ship.

Your guild would somehow assign a "captain" that could move the ship so that it is close to the most relevant quest hub, raid portal, etc.

There is plenty of space in the ocean. Imagine, instead of Dalaran, that the bay between Nighthold/Broken Shore was FULL of uniquely customized Horde/Alliance guild ships.

PvP battles where Alliance and Horde ships board each other, like the gunship fight from ICC

Accompanying this would be a revamp of the old world content, so that sailing the seas between the continents would actually be relevant.

Please Blizzard. Make it happen.

Basically we've got a mage in our guild who recently re-rolled and he's been moaning about frozen orb damage being bugged. We looked through logs and really couldn't work out what he was doing wrong until recently...

We paid attention and it seems our mage is a retard. Poor mage.

TIP: If someone is begging, particularly low level, and you feel inclined to give them money, wait. Rightclick their character portrait and compare achievement points.

You may infact be handing over that hard-earned gold to someone with +10k achievement points, that shouldn't be in need of actual begging.

And if the person says that their main is on another server, I generally tell them to transfer pets.

Or you can just /ignore them.
